If Kev Walsh doesn't care about these games why is he on the shows?
I never like criticising anyone who makes the shows but I tend to agree with you, it irked me a bit when he said on the Friday show that "he'd checked out".

I've told BoRed that I'll do it next season as I have a bit more time on my hands this year work wise than when I committed to the RAWK Prediction League and had to drop out after I had started it,.

I will have to figure out the way of publicising the fixture list that I can get my head around which I'll look at once this season is finished and we know who is likely to be in the competition next year.

Unless anyone else wants to volunteer of course👍

Nice one mate. Hopefully we can get enough returning and new players to keep it going.

We'll have to rename BoRed's cup to Wabaloolah's Cup though  :D

Either way, not winning the game means you won’t win the title. Thats all the point people are making is. Lego prick tried to be clever by playing for a draw , and I get you saying it left you ahead, but we all knew what would happen.

And again, your making 2 different points. The first sentence I agree with. The 2nd point is that 'Lego Prick' played for the draw, when I'm saying you have no idea if he actually did. Of course we set up to be hard to play through and not give up chances, but I've no doubt he'd want us to be a better threat on the counter. So how much was tactical, how much was poor play be our players when we got the ball, and how much was City not allowing us to play and smothering us, you or I just can't assume.

Our issues were nothing to do with the defence.

Can count on one hand the number of big errors Virgil and Quansah combined made all season. They've both had excellent seasons. When we were top there was talk of Virgil as POTY, and Quansah YPOTY. Gomez has also been really good when he came in. Konate's distribution has been off, but hes still a top class CB

The issue, as it has been for two seasons, is the lack of protection infront of them. We are pissweak in midfield, flaky as fuck. We had an elite DM two years ago.

In Istanbul when we conceded three in the first half, Hyypia and Carragher, who in the knockout rounds had been watertight, as they had a DM infront of them, were now helpless with no protection infront of them. Opposing midfielders and forwards freely running at the backline means disaster, don't care who is in the defence. We don't stop the danger at source any more, which Arsenal do having spent big on their midfield, so the opposition are rarely in their penalty area.

Prior to the Villa game, we have won 1 game against the top 9 away from home all season, and that a complete smash and grab at Newcastle who for 75 minutes ran all over our unathletic excuse for a midfield.
