Don’t think that’s the awful group people are making it out too be. Yes, BVB and Milan are actual European giants and classic European clubs - so it’ll be nice for Saudi Arabia to experience that,  being as they are the opposite. But in terms of the actual current teams - not sure they are great.

Whilst I agree, they are actually clubs that are set up for the competition.  Newcastle are far from that.

Horrible draw for them to get through but at the same time,  personally if I was a fan i would be buzzing for those games so not sure we can laugh at them too much. Not that it's ok what they're doing like. But you do want to be in the CL to be playing that calibre of team and going to those stadiums. If they can get a couple of good results they'll be happy even if they go out. I hope they get absolutely humiliated though.

What we need is Newcastle finishing 4th and out of europe, don't want them infecting the Europa league.
Not qualifying for next years CL (or EL) would be great for football.

I would be pretty shocked if they made the europa league out of that.
Dortmund, Milan are good teams and how deal with the 3 games very intense football. team that go from 1 game a week to CL generally really struggle. Even going from 1 week to EL is a step up but need depth that not something the have right now.

I would prefer both Saudi Clubs to be knocked out of contention for CL places next year. No Chelsea or Newcastle would be lovely, I would honestly rather see United in there than the beheaders.
I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close

Maybe they don't want to play them because they're worried that Joelinton will be attempting GBH on all their players? PSG v Saudi FC is going to the meeting of scumbags.
