Steroid cheat Sean Sherk.

Why what happened? to be honest I don't usually watch UFC - I just had it on in my study while playing TF2

Sherk's an incredibly boring fighter though. He'll just try and sit on him for 5 rounds.

He was stripped of the belt testing positive about a year ago. that's why tonight's fight was for the 'vacant' LW title. He's very close with UFC president Dana White so thats probably why he's getting a shot at the title without having to work his way back up to it.

Said the fans are treating this event as if it was at a newcastle game, most of been the booing that gave him that impression.

He said he'd introdiced over 100 UFC events and that Newcastle was as good as anywhere, then he added that its like being at a Newcastle game (must have been prompted).

This event went live at 8.00 and is a sell out. Have the NU fans shot over there or are they all non football fans ? Puffs!

Once a month normally. Setanta will now be showing the Live broadcasts from the States. Usually you'd have to wait till the following day for Bravo to show it. Which isn't the same. so I'll have to get Setanta in.

Former WWE superstar Brock Lesner will make his UFC debut at UFC 81.

That has got to be one of the gammiest tats I've ever seen.

Shamrock was an MMA fighter before he went to the WWE. That's why he had that 'most dangerous man in the world tag'. MMA has moved on since he was any good though. But at that time he was considered one of the best.

Lesnar is an all American wrestling champion, so he's not completely unskilled. I'm intrigued to see how he does, the man's an Animal .

Suggests hes going to try more submissions then and use them massive arms hes got to punish whoever hes fighting on the canvas.

Nope, he won't. He'll use his wrestling and then GNP. It's a very interesting fight between him and Mir though because he's going to want to take him down while Mir, if he's anywhere near top form, will be very dangerous on his back with his BJJ. Not sure who'll win but I'd laugh if Mir snaps his arm off.

looking forward to seeing Brock Lesnar fight.

He is an excellent wrestler and as big as he is I would expect him to have decent strikes.

Should be a great debut.
