I'm running it so you get one re-pick now and then miss out if still unable to get a player, mainly because I want to ensure there is some sort of teams in place with the categories I have chosen. I think once people are used to Sheep drafts, if we ran another we could go to no repicks to make getting an 11 even harder.

I’m surprised not more has been said about the 2 goalkeeper picks. They were the first 2 to come in to me and I was confused, thinking I had worded the criteria weirdly. Suppose it’s a guaranteed player though!

I'm still processing the Mykolenko pick. Think it topped that Bodo Illgner pick from PoP as the weirdest first pick from a virgin drafter. Unfortunately, it was also invalid.

The worst part about it is that it was the example Nabil used in the OP.

Sheep draft rules -

All players to be judged on current ability.

Everyone submits (via PM) a player to me that fits into the days category (eg Players that have played for a Ukrainian club). Your pick has to be unique, or you won't get it and have to resubmit a player.

For example

Samie - Fernandinho
Betty - Willian
Linudden - Willian

Samie gets Fernandinho but Betty and Linudden have to resubmit players.

You don't get more uncreative than our Samie.

Realistically people will vote in the player over their career rather than how they are currently. Still wasn’t a great pick but I can hardly talk.

Apologies, I was letting people know if their pick was invalid as a few were fine margins, but only realised one that was sent straight away, about an hour before deadline so only fair they get time to repick. My fault! (it's not but I'll take the blame because I'm weak)
