Think Abu Dhabi would tear them apart if they meet in final tho

They'd sadly do that to most of the teams left in.

He wasn't clipped, he dived. And the ref and VAR agreed.

;D Yeah cos the refs and VAR are always right aren’t they.  ;D

We’ll have to disagree on that mate.

If it stays like this and Bayern do the job tomorrow, 5th for a CL place is surely Germany's too.

Goalkeepers that make an easy catch and then dive onto the floor to waste time should be booked. It's absolutely pathetic.
Soccer - let's face it, its not really about a game of ball anymore is it?

Totally agreed. And add keepers who are booked should be sent off for further time wasting not warned again and again.

Atletico have been poor for a while. Not just the straitjacket in terms of style of play but no defensive solidity either.

Simeone should have moved on years ago.

The prospect of a City-PSG final is a big part of why I don't bother watching the CL anymore. I'll watch our games and that's it.

It's been a really good game this. Atletico were dominating in the early part of the second half, but Dortmund have done well to come back into it.

Easiest way to combat it, in my opinion, is to manage the 6 second rule more stringently (and probably reintroduce the 6 step rule - hard to control, but used as a guidance)
Henderson on Sunday was taking about 20 seconds every time he got the ball in his hands. He was moving from 1 side of the box to another etc.

Apparently doing trials in keeper time wasting again...despite the six seconds rule still being on the lawbook and refs could just be told to enforce it. IFAB and FIFA are obsessed with trials to find solutions that already have an answer on the laws of the game.

Not sure VAR clears anything up at any point.
Difficult to see, but I am sure Gundogan feels a touch and tries to use it. Just like the red card which is less likely to be a freekick in any other circumstance than the one that occured as there is hardly any pull or contact enough to go down, but in todays game its the sort of thing you just cannot do.

In the end Barca has suffered at the hands of themselves. Red card could be avoided, penalty was stupidity from Cancelo who lacks a brain, the goal from corner so poorly defended. This is one hundred pecent on Barca, no one else. But I am sure they are clouding themselves with previous years scandalous refereeing and letting that affect their reaction somewhat.

Yeah drives me mad. Yet you get a yellow card for taking your shirt off after scoring. It's no wonder the sport is on it's knees.

Hard to imagine Reds having a soft spot for Barca after their years of tapping up our players in the press.

As predicted ref books PSG keeper at the end of the game. Easy way out. Could have 4 yellow cards already for time wasting.

I think it’s less of any soft spot whatsoever, for me anyway, but more of a hatred of everything PSG stand for which is almost identical to Abu Dhabi.

Ter Stegen with two amazing saves, then the defender just lays it on a plate to Mbappe to have a third go.

First final in ages I won't watch. I even watched Chelsea v City a few years back.
