Just realised who Stevie's celebration reminds me of. It's uncanny.

Looks like Stevie's 'mini me' sitting in front of him.
It’s easy to believe when it’s going well.

It means as pointed out the Europa league is a trophy well worth winning.
Gerrard has clearly not won the medals his talent deserves but another European trophy would make his haul look a lot better when he looks back on his career.

It means that Steven Gerrard thinks those idiots that slag Kuyt off week in week out are idiots.

That celebration is just exactly how us fans react when we score a goal specially in the final minutes of a game to win it. Great to see.

The reaction shows that the players are all together, and that the players are happy to win games, even if it is in the Europa league.Gerrard's celebration epitomizes our unity, which can only be good for us.

To me it shows he was watching the match as a Fan and not a player last night.

We'd just won the tie in the last minute - I think he (along with most others connected with the club) are enjoying things so much more at the minute.

Last season wasn't great for a number of reasons and the first six months of this season were nothing short of shocking... the cloud has lifted and there is a smell of optimism in the air.

A red true and true, yea his head was turned which he has admitted and to me badly advised and represented at the time which counts for most footballers these days but Stevie loves this club and there could be no better captain

I hope it means the old Stevie is coming back.

I don't know about Andy's point of 'lack of effort' but he certainly was not happy for a while and who could blame him with the shite that was going on.
No point in opening up old wounds and dragging up the past, let's just move on together.

There is great excitement at the club now and continuing the run in the Europa will just keep adding to that.

spot on..always said a happy player is a better player!...team spirit is key,and slating is nt going to make him happy,it detracts...move on

How many times have you seen him like that in the last year or so? It definitely means something.

There is a different air around the club these days.

feels like we haven't even really seen Steven play under Kenny... what's it been, 2 or 3 games? Can't wait to see our full squad out there (with Kuyt not in it, jk)

He's so self absorbed he was probably just thinking of himself being able to lift that trophy now.......

or is he just a fan who happens to be a brilliant player who gets way too much stick.

i don't think there is a higher meaning other than he is a liverpool fan that was exited watching the game like the rest of us and a celebrated because we scored the winning goal so close to full time.

you see him celebrate every time when we score when he is on the pitch so why is it so strange to see him celebrate when he is a spectator?

bit off topic, but heard lucozade are paying for his extension and the deal is, he has to walk on and off the pitch holding a bottle of their drink. decent
