Their beetroot and goat's cheese pizza is pretty bloody good.

Really not wanting yet another couple of packs of supermarket sarnies for lunch yesterday, I opened my BK app for the first time in months to see if they had any offers worth taking.

Discovered Whopper Wednesday.

A Whopper (they have the plant shite for the cranks) for £1.99.

A Tory, a worker and an immigrant are sat round a table. There's a plate of 10 biscuits in the middle. The Tory takes 9 then turns to the worker and says "that immigrant is trying to steal your biscuit"

Of all the fast food burgers, the Whopper does stand head and shoulders above the rest - decent sauce with tomato and onion and what seems like a proper sized burger.

My mates aunty was manager at a KFC back in the early 2000's, we used to go in and get anything we wanted for £2, back when the gravy was manna from heaven and the chicken just tasted so much better

God, i'm hungry.......

I was a manager at Burger King when I was 19. It was a great laugh and yeah the quality of the food is a lot better than normal fast food. But that was 20 years ago so not sure it's the case now. My elder brother used to fax me his order and pick it up through drive-thru! lazy shit didn't even bother to get out the car.

Have to admit i treat myself to a BK double whopper [sometimes the double angus burger] meal now & again, BK have changed the fries a few years ago, they used to be similar size to McNasty's, but now BK fries are thicker.

Anyway, McNasty's get their fries supplied by McCain's, notice the similarity between McCain's fries & McNasty's fries.

I tried Taco Bell the other day for the first time ever. I had some time to kill waiting for a train and the town had one - never been the newish one in Liverpool.

Ordered a couple of bits with my partner - mainly bland shite needing the cheese to do the heavy lifting for any flavour. The ‘volcano’ burrito was utterly flavourless. The saviour of the day was the ‘cheesy gordita crunch,’ a hard shell taco full of chilli and cheese, with ranch dressing, wrapped in a soft shell taco. Texturally satisfying and I came away thinking it was really good for fast food, but I do think it shone in comparison to the pathetic offerings otherwise.

Also tried Wendy’s when I was in NYC in December, it was pretty good really albeit quite expensive, it definitely was at least as good if not better than a Burger King.

The best thing about McNasty's abroad is that they serve beer, and it's normally cheap.

First couple of times we went to Disneyland Paris we'd have lunch once or twice at McNasty's and a few beers for a fraction of the price the rip-off DLP outlets charged.

Expensive for the little difference that I could discern. Prefer smaller local places that aren't franchised. One of my favourite lunch time places served reasonable spag bol, but lots of it at a reasonable price. Regularly went back to the office barely able to move.

I don't think you can get pub fish and chips around here for under $20! I guess they think it's exotic "Irish" food?! I don't eat fish so can't tell ya how it tastes.
