Just a quick tip, anybody going to Augsburg via Munich on the train, buy a BayernTicket. It's 26 Euros and counts as a daily ticket. You can also take up to 4-5 people with you for just 2 Euro more. It'll be cheaper than getting a return journey methinks.

You wouldn't happen to have any spares for the match? Cheeky, I know. I'm Munich-based by the way.

Anybody on the Manc to Munich Singapore airlines on Thursday morning?

Going to be grim in the airport with all the united fans.... Hoping there flying from different Terminals!

I can really recommend the Augustiner am Dom (Augustiner and Tegernseer are the two top beers over here) , it's right next to the Frauenkirche, the church with the two towers that look like onions. But basically you can't do much wrong with the Wirtshouses here.

Is the Augustiner Am Dom the one with spiral staircase going down to the toilets? Sure I've been in that one before

We're on the Wednesday stadium tour at 1pm mate - Was the only English speaking guide, so we went for that time. Don't land in Munich until 11.50 haha, hope we aren't delayed...

any info greatly received , land at munich airport terminal 1 at 22.35 tuesday night from heathrow ,booked train at 23,11 from munich airport to augsburg , looks really tight in getting that train , there are later ones but with long transfer times , so has anyone experience of the whereabouts to where the s bahn station is in the airport ?? and failing that are there any busses to augsburg ?? many thanks

One lad I know, his Dad has had to drop out of this due to work. Do you think common sense will prevail and they will let him pick the ticket up as long as a copy of the passport is taken? It says no modifications can be made once the booking is complete. But surely for genuine dropouts they could allow a change. Especially when it is immediate family collecting the ticket.

Only the person with the passport in that name, maybe worth contacting the club for 'special' circumstances
