Just a quick tip, anybody going to Augsburg via Munich on the train, buy a BayernTicket. It's 26 Euros and counts as a daily ticket. You can also take up to 4-5 people with you for just 2 Euro more. It'll be cheaper than getting a return journey methinks.

You wouldn't happen to have any spares for the match? Cheeky, I know. I'm Munich-based by the way.  ;D

Ahem ahem..  :wave

If you are staying in Munich, you can get a Bayern regional ticket. Its valid from 9AM to 3AM the next day. Costs €23 per person. And all additional persons are charged at 5 Euros per head. If you are 5, you will pay 23+5+5+5+5. You can only take the S-Bahn, IRE, RE, RB trains. ICEs and ICs are not included in this option. With the mentioned trains, journey takes about 45 minutes from Munich main station.

Looking forward to meeting a few LFC fans in Munich, it's horrible going to Kilians when theres only Mancs or Chelsea fans there.

I can really recommend the Augustiner am Dom (Augustiner and Tegernseer are the two top beers over here) , it's right next to the Frauenkirche, the church with the two towers that look like onions. But basically you can't do much wrong with the Wirtshouses here.

Hmm, it's a small square spiral, if that makes any sense.

One lad I know, his Dad has had to drop out of this due to work. Do you think common sense will prevail and they will let him pick the ticket up as long as a copy of the passport is taken? It says no modifications can be made once the booking is complete. But surely for genuine dropouts they could allow a change. Especially when it is immediate family collecting the ticket.

If there anything like, Everton no.

same thing happened to a mate away with Everton when they played that team and they all got battered.....

Only the person with the passport in that name, maybe worth contacting the club for 'special' circumstances
