Huge game in the title race, half of me can't wait and the other half wants it to be over already. Anything that keeps it in our own hands will be seen as a good result, so we are effectively looking to avoid defeat - the fact that the draw suits us more so than you makes me personally feel a little more relaxed (for now), as it gives us some margin for error right from the off. (e.g. we can go 1-0 down and still be in reachable distance of a good result).
I expect you'll see us line up
Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernandinho, Yaya, Silva, Nasri, Navas, Aguero. He definitely won't be going 4-4-2 so the only change I think you could see to that is Navas or Nasri out for Garcia, who will slot alongside Fernandinho and Yaya will be pushed into the CAM role, but it's more likely this will be a change during the game as legs get tired and the time comes to unleash Yaya.
I'm going to predict a draw, on the basis that I'm too pessimistic for a win and we have been very solid lately (only losing 1 league game in the last 22 to Chelsea). Having said that, you are the in form side and I can definitely see us getting beat (I just can't predict it)
Our record isn't the best at Anfield and you'll explode out of the blocks with the atmosphere (I think we'll have to ride the storm a bit early on and try and let the game settle). Both sides are capable of scoring plenty, as well as making defensive howlers - it's a recipe for chaos, or a boring 0-0. Our house is half and half so there is added tension this time around.
I disagree with those saying the title won't be won or lost in this game. If we lose I can't see you letting anything get in your way (and Chelsea have a CL semi to worry about either side of your game), and if we get a favourable result then 4/6 of our games are left at home and we can afford another draw (minimum) away as I think our GD will edge away slightly if we are to win our games in hand. So I think the title can very much be won or lost this weekend.
