Great performance again, thought Henderson had a very good game. On another note does anyone know the name of the 1st song that was played at half time today? It gets played quite a lot but can never get the lyrics.

Klopp saying we could be better, especially shape wise in the first 15 minutes or so, he wasn't pleased. He will keep the players on their toes, there will be no complacency

Without doubt the highlight of the game was the moment Alisson had to come running out, scrambles at the edge and on the outside of the box, reds fretting, the defence bombing back in to have two on the line, one on the 6 yard box, the midfield closing in and pressuring the lad as he dummied and then got a shot away and all that pressure and bodies, allowed Alisson time to get back in his box and make a save, fucking beautiful.

It was a great moment Chops :)

December has been glorious
Without a doubt, THE best December in my history of watching Liverpool.
Kicked off by that memorable and totally bonkers derby goal, followed by the absolute pasting of the Mancs and sacking of Maureen and now- the crumbling of City before our eyes, Liverpool top at Christmas- unbeaten and with a massive tally.

Unbelievable!

I think it was the Borussia Monchengladbach song. There was a small band of them in the lower Anny Road singing all the words.

I clapped them but no-one else around me, in the Kemlyn, had any idea of the significance of the song and the relationship between the two sets of fans, sadly.

Anyone see Gini's touch for that lofted ball? In the fourth minute I think it was, he was being mauled at the time but managed to stretch out a leg and killed it dead.

Wonderful control.

7 goals at half way?  Who saw that coming?

I reckon we will have a grey period where it seems like it’s all going to shit, but this happens in every season.  Let’s enjoy it... it’s great

Absolutely buzzing after that today, Newcastle swept aside with aplomb and I’m convinced the feel good factor from the winner at Leicester, seemed to lift our players to get the fourth goal.

4-0!
Another solid, almost perfect win. We controlled things from the start. We had variety in our game and we found a way to rest three first team regulars and got to play Sturridge, Fabinho and Clyne. Really pleased with this performance.

This team, this manager.

This has been a remarkable, special and incredible first half of the season.

Our shape defensively in the opening 20 minutes was poor in comparison to what we're capable off. Newcastle had half chances, that we shouldn't have allowed to happen, which is why Klopp said we can play better.

And yet we still won 4-0

You know it’s been a great month when there’s the small matter of securing Champions League qualification and it’s not the absolute highlight - so much so that it can be left off that little list and its omission doesn’t actually look that out of place!

What a season this is, loving every single second!
