Yeah turning into a team of miser's giving away nowt! Team after my own heart.
@ Veinticinco de Mayo The way you talk to other users on this forum is something you should be ashamed of as someone who is suppose to be representing the site.
Without doubt the highlight of the game was the moment Alisson had to come running out, scrambles at the edge and on the outside of the box, reds fretting, the defence bombing back in to have two on the line, one on the 6 yard box, the midfield closing in and pressuring the lad as he dummied and then got a shot away and all that pressure and bodies, allowed Alisson time to get back in his box and make a save, fucking beautiful.
In the season of good will to all, our defence said, no, theres no room at the inn, so piss off. Its a beautiful thing being miserable miserly bastards, this time of year.
December has been glorious
In such a sumptuous festival of shite, I wouldn't be so quick to pick a winner..But he'd make the shortlist
Great performance again, thought Henderson had a very good game. On another note does anyone know the name of the 1st song that was played at half time today? It gets played quite a lot but can never get the lyrics.
Without a doubt, THE best December in my history of watching Liverpool.Kicked off by that memorable and totally bonkers derby goal, followed by the absolute pasting of the Mancs and sacking of Maureen and now- the crumbling of City before our eyes, Liverpool top at Christmas- unbeaten and with a massive tally.Unbelievable!
Didn’t play at our best but as most looked likely, we got the result!!
When did we ever play our best this season?
I think it was the Borussia Monchengladbach song. There was a small band of them in the lower Anny Road singing all the words. I clapped them but no-one else around me, in the Kemlyn, had any idea of the significance of the song and the relationship between the two sets of fans, sadly.
7 goals at half way? Who saw that coming?I reckon we will have a grey period where it seems like it’s all going to shit, but this happens in every season. Let’s enjoy it... it’s great
7 goals at half way? Who saw that coming?
Record breaking defence by the half way point no?
I believe theres only really one answer to that question and its quite simple: Jurgen Klopp
"The key isn't the system itself, but how the players adapt on the pitch. It doesn't matter if it's 4-3-3 or 4-4-2, it's the role of the players that counts." Rafa Benitez
Joint with Chelsea.
In the PL era.Any stats for 1st division?
Brilliant day and game! First time in 3 years ive managed to get to anfield and my sons (7) first time as well! Atmosphere was great and we looked awesome. Thought Hendo was immense today as well.
Somewhere on here,I did say a 4-0 win,I would have been a bit disappointed if it was a 2-0 win, some of us had to be right,I was one of them x
Our shape defensively in the opening 20 minutes was poor in comparison to what we're capable off. Newcastle had half chances, that we shouldn't have allowed to happen, which is why Klopp said we can play better. And yet we still won 4-0
