Yer it's a disgrace no trains early enough or nothin and 1.30pm K.O for fans havin to travel about 300 miles or something like that. I'm goin the night before and stayin costin more like but should be fun lyk, do a bit of sightseein, by that i mean find a wetherspoons get smashed an stumble into a cheeky little peep show for a wank then back to the room for a pot noodle to complete the night, sorry went off on a bit of a tangent there.
P.S - Whats with the different colour tickets r's r blue and me mates is orange both lower shed lyk?????

I was thinking that. My mate has 2 and i thought it strange they were orange with a black stripe along the top (upper tier).

Not seen that before...

any ideas where to park. is there a tube station on the outskirts to park at and then get the tube in.

any advice would be appreciated

m40 0r m1,park at rayners, picadilly line, car park at rear of station, half hour to earls court, then walk 15min to stamford bridge through the cemetary, also dont be put off driving in via m4, park at either earls court £15 or chelsea hospital further up past the ground on the fulham road. if your skint park up by parsons green few streets after 5pm are free of restrictions, dont forget you get locked in on champions league nights, and extra time could be played. theres loads of boozers & restaurants around fulham road, most chelsea fans ive bumped into are sound, and love our european tales and banners at the bridge.

For all the London games we used to park at Alperton. Take the picadilly line from there to Earls court then change onto the district line 2 stops to Fulham Broadway.

Try the transport for London website for park and ride stations. Not sure on the web address but type tfl into google.

Is alperton outside the congestion charge zone? aint got a clue about london, first time going down where im the one organising it, went to spurs but we had a coach organised that dropped us off outside the ground. We are looking for the cheapest option really. Parking outside the congestion zone and gettin tube in seems the best option. Any help appreciated.

tfl.gov  .uk

says ...

"Hours of operation

Certain vehicles are subject to the Congestion Charge if driven within the charging zone between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday.

You do not have to pay the charge on weekends, English public holidays, designated non-charging days, or between 18:00 and 07:00.

Some vehicles or drivers qualify for discounts and exemptions.

Non-charging days

All charging days that fall between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day inclusive are designated non-charging days. Vehicles that drive within the zone on or between these dates will not incur the Congestion Charge".

Going to park at park royal, found out its FREE PARKING, its also on the piccadilly line which is free from maintenance that day and ony a few stops from earls court to then change to district line for fulham broadway, or could walk from earl's court if it aint too far.

Park royal is only 15 mins off the M1 aswell according to my mate.

IAMDAVE cheers for congestion charge info.

It isn't far from Earls court.  There's a pub nearby called the Courtfields (from memory) thats LFC friendly too.

HELP!
Ova in london for weekend from Belfast (frequent attendee at anfield for most home games) and have managed to get a ticket for this one...only bad thing is im stuck in the Chelsea end, however it is the shed end where im aware reds fans will be situated.
Firstly....best suggestions as to where to head before game where fellow reds will be?
Secondly....wot would be the chances of squeezing into the away end when in the ground..if any at all...?!
Thirdly....if for any reason anyone can not make this one any spares would be greatly recieved!!

All assistance very much appreciated. RAWK
