I would delete that post. He might come after when he eventually rules the universe.
He’s got a gig presenting some racing/driving show, I read the other day.

The mind boggles.

Haha I mean i’d be fuming if that was given against us but wtf were Fulham doing leaving 2 v 1 at the back post from a free kick like that?

Still expect utd to win this handily enough.

Why did that take so long?

Why would the most incompetent refs in the world take so long to make an offside decision, no idea, can't think of one reason really.

Fulham paying Utd way too much respect by playing the ‘we’ll sit in, let you attack and try to score on the counter’

they had to decide if Maguire, being in an offside position, playing for the ball, and blocking the defender was actually interfering with play.

Why did it take so long ?

Also, why does the ref need to come over to screen ? It’s not subjective

Only explanation I can think of is so it's seen as the ref making the decision and not VAR.

You'd be wrong to be fuming. He's offside and he tries to play the ball whilst preventing a defender from doing so. Don't get the controversy at all.

"Let's see how involved Maguire is for their goal.

He's playing for the ball, he doesn't get a touch,, he gets pushed in the back.

Seems harsh to disallow it"

Think I disagree on this … Ten Hag is a competent coach - Ajax wasn’t an accident, neither was their improvement in his first season -  who needs a recruitment structure around him which he might get with new ownership
Hope he’s fired as the replacement will be worse

The chances are they will be out of the CL anyway, it's whether they choose to replace him then, rather than now

I do not think he has the personality to be a "big team" coach. Far too provincial, will rub too many noses out of joint.

He may be a competent coach but he's been bringing in players mostly he's worked with or played for Ajax one way or another. His decisions have been poor as well, I mean the year is 2023 and Johnny Evans/Maguire is starting ahead of Varane for a few games running now.

He's played players out of positions even after they've played poorly in said positions.

a right snoozefest this one so far.

And if they actually follow the rules, there should be about 6 minutes extra on the end of this half too.
