No surprises so far, we know exactly the level to expect from us these days and so it's proving again. Luckily Chelsea can't hit a barn door so we're still in the game.

Very similar to the Anfield game against these, two really poor sides each hoping to be slightly less shit than the other.

Poor stuff. Lucky they can't finish or we'd be 2 or 3 down. Midfield as ever offering little defensively, totally unbalanced attack, Matip with one of the worst 30s I've seen. He and we did improve last 15 so that's something I suppose. Diogo needs to wake up, missed an easy pass to Darwin and that at the end when in was poor.

Hopefully we do the classic smash and grab second half, defo set up for it. Fernandez leaves gaps galore, so much space around him and he's too slow to make it up, hopefully we can actually find a pass and take advantage of it. Get Mo on.

Really surprised Hendo has been invisible. The right side is just not working right now.

Most chances have come from either Firmino dropping deep or Nunez getting a chance to run.

Referee giving a thrown in to Chelsea after Matip won it based on reflex sums how I feel about him.

Thankfully Chelsea are shit.

Some our passing from the back has been abysmal.

But there are 3 points in this for us if we can just string a decent move together

What you'd expect overall, but do we need to play these tough away games at a million miles an hour from the first minute? Could have been 2-0 down easily after 5 minutes yet again and will inevitable tire. At least make them work for their chances ffs.

I know he tried but amazed Kavanagh never found a way to give that goal.

Went from terrible, to bad, to not out worst away performance over the course of the half which was an improvement I guess. Tsimikas really wants Robertson to be first choice.

So poor again. Jones has been decent, Ali and Hendo good and best I’ve seen Jota all season. The rest are so tentative in everything they’re doing. The worst thing about this is they are utter dogshit, if we were just half decent we’d batter them.

There’s 100% a stonewall penalty coming up being ignored under the pretence of ‘the referee is letting the game flow’. Predictably laughable referee (and of course the old three minute VAR check for a very clear offside)

Doing alright for a side with zero confidence and players out against a new manager bounce. Unlucky not to score at the end
