We looked fantastic in the first 15 or so minutes. Looked a question of not if but when we'd score. Last 20 minutes or so we've been abject and it's like our forwards have gone home

Don't know what happened there. Really good for 25 minutes, could have been 2-0 but for a superb clearance off the line and Gakpo an inch offside. Then extremely lazy defending especially by Virgil sees us 1-0 down, and terrible since then. Not just defensively, but on the ball all we've been doing are inaccurate long-balls to nobody.

Team needs a kick up the arse because they've lost their heads after that goal. I'd switch Gakpo and Nunez because Darwin does not look comfortable out wide with so little space.

Really need to test their keeper more because he's the worst keeper in the league.

We’re not good mentally. You need to earn the right to play in games like these - we didn’t. Bournemouth fully in the game, dominating the chances. It’s either arrogance or laziness - either way it’s not good.

Really shite last 25 mins, back to aimless zero energy football

We've not wanted to win tackles, playing both Elliott and Bajectic then effectively emptying the midfield is pure arrogance. For their goal Van Dijk gets back then does nothing and Robbo also doesn't even try to get back goal side, its so frustrating the laid back attitude

We look dangerous off set pieces, should have scored at least one so far from them

Van Dijk needs to stop moaning, put the ball in the net and mark their forwards, how the fuck can someone poke the ball forward and you just let them run freely to cross into the box, awful defending, thank fuck for Konate.

We need to switch Gakpo and Nunez more, Nunez is not in the game stuck out wide and we have a side we are beating in the air a decent amount but we're neglecting to use the main aerial threat i attack

Even in Sunday league you are told to continue following the player after a lost duel. Why did VVD stop chasing him? Very poor by him and Trent. Ibou passing poor as well. Midfield non existent. Bring on Arthur for Stefan B.

Predictable. Gakpo back to being invisible after the first 15 minutes, Konate running up the wing and unable to find a pass was pretty damning of our "link man". Elliot good when we're in the ascendancy but problematic again when things aren't going our way.

I said before the game I'd drop both for Bajcetic and Jota and have yet to see anything that would change my mind.

I hate the way we've adapted the mentality of a small team. We raise our intensity levels against the big sides and then don't look bothered against the rest of the league

The first 10-15 minutes were promising but then it went to shit. The service into the front line has been awful. They've barely been on the ball for the last 10 minutes with aimless balls over the top not finding anyone. I sort of half expected this sort of performance but I was praying we wouldn't see it.

Gakpo needs to get on the ball more. Too many games you don't see him for 10 minutes at a time. He's got the quality once he's on the ball as we've all seen but need someone to link it together as it's all fragmented

There is a serious case for hooking van dijk here. He has been atrocious, both defending and his pathetic efforts in their penalty area on set pieces.

Half expected this so not overly surprised. Par for the course with Liverpool at the moment. Need a massive improvement in the second half
