The wheels have well and truly come off at Roma. Di Francesco should start to worry about being sacked very soon.

Don't think it's helped that the likes of Schick has been injured all season

You're right, it doesn't help but they've picked up 11 points from their last 9 League games. They're fortunate Inter are slumping too, otherwise they'd have all kinds of work to do to make the Champions League.

44 million seems a real steal for this guy, I can't help thinking there's a catch here. Is there rumours about Roma getting a new keeper, as surely you'd be expecting them to fight to keep hold of him.

apparently they still have some FFP issues, but to be honest I’m not arsed in the slightest if they have someone else lined up!

I will agree if he's as good as everyone is claiming we need to get it done. At least it means we're looking for a goalie now, imperative that we find a good one.

Just watched some of his saves, that one with his shin was quite novel.  ;D  He is a good size and looks quite intimidating which is always good with for a goalkeeper.

Roma need money, it's why they sold Salah, and why they're open to selling most of their players

would happily do a Keita type deal now and just make sure he has lots of English lessons in the meantime, honestly think we’d concede less than 20 a season with him in net

I would honestly hope the club is doing deals for both him and Lemar (if Klopp still wants him) now, rather than wait for the World Cup. Their prices will only go up.

What has struck me about him so far is his coolness under pressure especially with that breakaway Sampdoria attack. He will have to cope with chances like that if he plays for us, and he was very impressive.

I'm surprised Roma are doing this well as well, given their summer. I don't expect it to last. Think it will turn into a 2-horse race by Feb, with Juve and Napoli pulling clear, but for now, a really interesting contest.

Not a bad prediction...

Will be interesting to see if they can keep this momentum going with Europa league restarting.

If I were them, I would bin off the Europa league and concentrate on winning Serie A. But it will be immense if they are able to pull off the double.
