Oh good stuff! Have you headed north of the border with the crime series' and watched Blue Lights?

Oh yeah loved it. I watched the first series when it first came out last year.
I preferred S1 to S2, (both great) hopefully they make lots more.

I will do Kin at some point but will do a few others first.  Maybe Slow Horses s2 or Responder S2

Seriously tho, who do they actually go for?

The market isn't exactly swamped with very good managers available, just look at how badly Bayern are struggling to convince someone.

If Tuchel and Southgate are your alternatives then what's the point?

7 Hag has got to two cup finals! - they should be extending his contract....

On a serious note, the manager at United is not their main problem, it's the standards and structures behind the whole footballing operation. A Klopp type might have the personality and experience to do that, but there are not many Klopp's out there. They need their executive board to have a far better vision and invest in that space.

Didn't get the hype about him when he was at Everton as he seemed a bit of a headless chicken but have to say I've been impressed by his performances this year. He's really developed. Can't see Newcastle letting him go yet but I think he'll get a big move at some point.

I'm fairly sure they need to get a decent transfer fee in for one of their players to be able to go spend again.

I'd put in a big offer for Bruno G.

When you have a well known song going round in your head on a loop but can't think of the title. :butt

Don't think of the title, just play it one bar at a time...

I haven't really liked this Ange fella since he came in. The "mate" stuff was just all a bit weird and then when he started on his archaic view of what football should be he showed himself as a bit of a dinosaur.

This week has been the first time I've agreed with him. He's thought (rightly or wrongly) that he was at a top team who wanted to progress and play at the highest level. They had a chance (albeit a slim one) to beat City and put themselves in a great position for CL football, above United, Chelsea and Newcastle. Instead they had small-time fans shouting at him to throw the game. I understand the rivalry stuff but Spurs need to get their own house in order, they need a shift in mentality away from the Arsenal hatred (same as Everton do). They had their chance to derail Arsenal's title bid and they failed.

Postecoglu has targets and one was CL football, no doubt. The weird game and performance has cost them that and he's called that out, probably not in the right way but unless the club and fans change that mindset they won't go very far. CL football would've been huge for them and it might be their last realistic chance for a while.

Armagh are the Holland of GAA penalty shootouts, even down to the same colour jerseys. Just waiting for one of them to Jaap Stam a penalty into near earth orbit for a point.

The reason we have them is that godforesaken split season bollockology which has completely ruined the rhythm of the Irish sporting summer. Just because some county boards were unable to schedule their championships as their all powerful county manager demanded that no games be played within 3 weeks of an inter-county match.  Having All Ireland finals in July is morally indefensible.
