Am I the only one seeing executive boxes slap bang in the middle of the Kop there?

Am pretty sure they were there originally, except in the centre bank

Well thats better than the last and 100 times better than the first. It is less showy and angular . It is still an original design though bit of a minor triumph.

Get the team sorted out now and we will win the league.

I have to admit, it looks all new and shiny and the KOP end is still in place.  As a fan going to the game I don't think any of us will notice the difference from the previous plans.

As you say, they are really hitting the PR today.  It certainly seems that they have put everything on hold pending the loan agreement.  I think they fail to realize that it is the loan itself that is the cause of most of the issues we as fans have.

is the Kop smaller or not as 'upright' - not sure of the correct word, on more of an incline back?

Seems  more of a bowl seating arrangement now, with the Kop the only truely separate stand.

Its still a very nice looking stadium, distinctly Anfield - their problem is they've tainted it with the problems they've brought about themselves though.

I hope people aren't swayed by the coming days of PR and this new release.

I fear for this..... Don't you mother fuckers forget what they have done. I personally hate the stadium now, looks like a shopping mall and everything that represents in my eyes.

It seems to have less steel than the previous one, which would save a lot of wonga.

Its exactly the same only they've filled in the extra seats in the North Stand (Away End/ Anny road End - take your pick) but, 1000 seats have gone missing coz the original plans said the North Stand would "Eventually" increase the capacity from 60k to 72k now there quoting the whole thing to have 71k.

Not that it makes much difference, but, does anyone know if they've now planning permission to build over the 60k mark right from the off or is it still a case of build 60k (have the North Stand built to ground level) then finish it off when the transport infrastructure is in place??

Or is it more likely that by the time we eventually get the New Stadium built there'll be better transport to Anfield anyway??

We'll all be riding round on hover boards/cars & bikes by the time it gets built!

Does anyone else get the feeling that they may just be trying to get the fans back on-side by issuing these "plans".  They've only just managed to get the funds sorted to pay the loan they took out last year.  I think we may see quite alot of alterations to this before, as the yanks would say "a spade gets put in the ground" ::)

I like it but until the last brick is in place, I don't believe anything

I think that grey section in the Kop is a disabled section

I wonder how the designs look virtually the same as the previous design but comes in 150m cheaper?

Exec boxes

Its gound level so it's where the Disabled will go.  Plus it will give our disabled fans a better view than what they have now at pitch level.

maybe wrong but i think by law its a requirement, which is fair enough - it was certainly there in the previous version of the stadium.

The differences: green sides made of crinkly tin instead of shiny steel, looks like there's a bit more blockwork at ground level rather than glass.

With a bit of luck, someone will see sense and replace those acres of glass at the side of the "Kop" with a bit more crinkly tin, then we'd have something that looks a bit more like our current home...
