Phenomenal, again.

Think the pairing of him and Endo is working really, really well.

He’s so good on the ball in tight spaces.

And he’s a brilliant penalty taker.

Unreal player. Quality, graft, intelligence, the perfect midfielder. He also had won the game winning (perhaps league winning) pen in the last minute.

He's the signing of the season. You can stick your Rice's, Vicario's, Maddison's, Doku's, Barkley's, Palmer's and god knows who else up your arse. The lad is genuinely elite, and has been running the midfield every game for about 3 months straight now.

Far and away the PL signing of the season. I reckon he should be in the running for player of the season. Simply outstanding, and £35M! Fuckinghell, bargain of the century!

Surely he’s now our number one pen taker. Another pen he took today where you just knew it was going in. He’s an absolute bargain at £35 million. Some engine on him. If he had a touch more pace about him, it would be unfair on everyone else.

If he was quicker then he wouldn't have the same game intelligence. He reminds me of Alonso, he compensates for a lack of pace with his anticipation.

I would love to see how much ground he covered today.  Has skill and football intelligence. A will to win and works his arse off.  He seemed to be first out to the city man every time. Impossible to push him off the ball. He is so good. Almost the perfect footballer. GOD we are so blessed to have him.

He's far more street smart and aggressive than Alonso and much better in tight area's. He continues like this and he will have a much better Liverpool career than Xabi. I can imagine Alonso watching Macca from afar and salivating at the thought of building his Liverpool team around him.

Twice now he's been forced to wait a long time to take a penalty and twice he has then made the keeper wait a long time before starting his run up. Seems pretty intentional.

It really was. City have had the best midfield in the world for years and Mac was miles above any of them.

When he hits the level he did yesterday, then he's the ultimate all round midfielder. A creator and destroyer in one. It's outrageous to watch recently.

It's not a knock on Thiago, because he's been good when fit, but MacAllister really is the absolute very top bracket midfielder we thought we were getting with Thiago. He's that good. That performance alone yesterday deserves a league winner's medal. Best player on the pitch by a distance.

Phenomenal performance yesterday. Incredible mix of tenacity and guile. When he swerved round Rodri he invited the challenge to finally get Rodri booked.

The penalty was brilliant too after being made to wait and wait. Unsaveable with that much pressure. So impressive.

Remember last summers transfer window many wanted a destroyer type midfielder? Who would have thought Mac & Endo, these two relatively smaller chaps, not the quickest or physically strongest would transform our midfield from what we had on show last season. Massive credit to all involved in signing these lads, Klopp and the coaches, these two in particular have been nothing short of brilliant, transformed us completely.

He’s so good. Had a slightly ‘slow’ start with us when in reality he was perfectly fine, just maybe didn’t catch the eye as much as others but in the last couple of months he’s really stepped forward and been our best and most consistent player I think. Just a great all round midfielder, does everything well, including taking penalties! Should be on them even with Mo on the pitch but time will tell on that one.
