Signing of the season.

Phenomenal Midfielder.
"Since its purchase by the sheikh of Abu Dhabi, Manchester City has managed to cheat its way into the top echelon of European football and create a global, immensely profitable football empire, ignoring rules along the way. The club's newfound glory is rooted in lies."

Goodness me this lad is good.  I wasn't sure about his signing initially, especially at the mooted £80m but was happy to give him a chance at £35m  :D
Never seen him playing I think. But looks like a good player.

This midfield is going to be absolutely insanely good once we buy an elite 6/ Bacjetic becomes an elite 6. It’s already brilliant but a player of Mac and Szoboslai/Jones’ ability at 6 would be a cheat code. Not that Endo is bad of course, he’s just nowhere near the level of Mac and not at the level of Dom or Jones.

World-class midfielder for £35 million. Incredible signing. He could glue any midfield together, such an intelligence wedded to Argentinian tenacity and fabulous skill.

I think he is the best midfielder in this league, De Bruyne is great also but he's basically a number 10.

Fantastic again, has superb control of the football and a natural knowledge of where to pass at all times.

As Mo Salah among others can testify anything can be done to a Liverpool player on the pitch without it being a foul or a penalty though.

Majestic, he owned that midfield and even sent De Bruyne for an early shower.
I’ve plenty links to the clubs playing and backroom staff as many on here know thank you very much. Fair enough, I admire your optimism. But you’re absolute ostriches if you think this squad, even with 2 or 3 new, “cut price” players with potential get us anywhere close

Terrible take, Endo was better than Rodri, he got De Bruyne subbed.

Agreed, he was absolutely sensational today, but he'll never get the appreciation he should because some people who think they know football have already made their mind up on him.

Sublime, should have been another pen but regardless he was outstanding.

My one criticism is the defending on their goal was awful. He's so strong and stands his ground so well but getting moved away from the front post like that killed us

Him and Jones in the midfiels is like a more refined version of Henderson and Gini

I feel like he closed our gap in midfield vs City. Helped us dominate today, w/Endo and Elliott (and Szobozlai, whos getting pelters elsewhere for some reason)

Always felt our previous midfielders could go toe to toe with theirs in the past (Fab, Henderson, wijnaldum etc) when it came to the physical battles but I've always wanted someone calm and calculated on the ball when we play them as well. He's exactly that

Vvd was brilliant but this guy made us tick. Strong in every tackle and then made time and space, picking the correct pass nearly everytime which took the pressure off immediately. This was a monster performance. Gutted he wasn't given and then score the pen that would have given us the win.

Mac Allister is reaching a point since the start of 2024, where he's playing as well as any midfielder for us in the Klopp era. Absolutely outstanding again. Running non stop, there to gather up and tackle everything, and using the ball brilliantly and intelligently. Belter of a pen too, and he should've had another one.

People can talk about Rice all they want, we got the signing of the summer with this guy. Magnificent.
