It's not Flanno is ahead of Smith per say. It's simply that Flanno can both play right-back and left-back, so more often than not, he will make the bench ahead of Smith.

You know, Klopp could get on the blower and tell him to run down his contract, and tell the club he won't sign a new one, we could pick him up on the cheap 2019/20'ish.

Obviously by then hopefully we'll be successive title winners and CL contenders, and Alli will desperately want to follow Gerrards footsteps....

If we play our cards right we may still get his prime.

Will be interesting to see what Klopp makes of Flanno. We seem to have a history of having decent right footed left backs.....i cant recall, how is Flanno's crossing from the left?.

About as good as his crossing from the right, which is not very good.

He's more of a passer of the ball.

Well Trippier has played lately(?) for Spurs. Interesting to see Sinclair still being played considering all that has been going on. If he's not intending to stay, I'd rather see us play Wilson there.

Yep, similar to when Sterling/Suso/Shelvey dropped down for a bit during 12/13. First team football has certainly helped them.
