dont know where to begin. weird formation, looked like we were going nowhere, somehow we manage to get back in the game then waste chance after chance then gerrard gets pulled off then we get a pen then they may have had a pen even though to my mind its easy for lescott top fall on carra and it was 93 minutes 45 seconds even though there was only three minutes on the board.

We were lucky really, hopefully this will dig us out of a rut. I think Benitez was on the brink of major criticism at 1-1 and with gerrard off.

Like the look of Leiva though.

Let's be honest though despite the win we were pretty poor.

I don't think Rafa's problem is his supposed rotational issues. If he could just drop the defensive mindset against teams especially when were on top (against 10 men). Honestly, Sissoko as an attacking midfielder? Gerrard off?

Still I can't help smiling. Actually a controversial win over the bs is more satisfying than thumping them.

What we saw was the unpredictability of football game. Nobody knows whether Gerrard will bury the chances that went to Momo, and Lucas would have scored if not for Phil Neville's handball. Eventually Kuyt was the lucky guy to win us the game and scored 2 penalties.

Rafa needs not to explain his decision. His team won the game, we should just enjoy the away Derby win. I don't think any genuine fan can complain.
