I went for the F.A Cup not only because it was a great win for us but pre-game there was some apprehension about whether TVNZ would broadcast the game live or even delayed. The relief that they did was nearly as good as us winning it(but not quite) and it was the only (trophy) game that was showed free to air. I saw highlights of the UEFA Cup and indeed that was a great occasion I did'nt get to watch fully but getting to watch the F.A Cup live was great. A great day for LFC.

Has to be at the end of the UEFA Cup Final where the whole Squad lined up infront of the Liverpool end and joined in 'YNWA'
That made the hairs stand on my back and feel so proud to support Liverpool that night night I got about 10 photo's of it.

Gary Mac from 44 yards. Despite all their cheating we finally managed to win on the bitters own turf.

It was the definitive moment of the season and without it I doubt we'd have qualified for the champions league or won the treble.

I really can't pick one game from another, it was simply too good a year for us.  But, if I had to pick a specific period from 2001, it was the final week of the season.

Kicking off with the last gasp win in the FA Cup.  Then it was on to Dortmund for the UEFA Cup, another nail biter.  Concluding with our 0-4 win over Charlton to secure our Champions League place.

It was a fitting end to what was a rollercoaster of a season!

Exactly Davemac. Not really the look on their faces, more the sheer fucking joy of the goal, well both of 'em. My house rocked that night. Woke up the missus and the kids, unintentionally of course. Still clinching my fist in delight that same morning, actually the whole day and the next.

Tough call between Gary Mac's last minutes winner at The Theatre Of Screams and just the whole day in Dortmund's town centre, heaven's opening but still 30,000 packed the square, a great day that was.

When Owen banged in the winner. The celebrations were immense. In terms of euphoria, the seconds following that goal were the highest I've ever been. Pure unadulterated ecstacy.

i dont remember a thing about supporting LFC from that season...nope the minds blank, even though i did support the mighty reds i wasnt a massive fan. only since 2002 i have really taken it passionally and kicked every ball and wacked every wall in sight when we concede.

Love my Liverpool though - love the club to bits

Gary Macs last second winner at Everton was beautiful leaving the bitters devastated...it was crucial in that it gave us a huge boost in going on to win the two remaining cups and qualifying for the Champions League, but Owens FA Cup winner was the perfect moment, unreal...we had been utterly battered for 80 minutes (lost count of how many we cleared off the line)...you could see that Arsenal were stunned when Owen equalized and then when he scored that outrageous winner they were almost suicidal...unbelievable day.

Gary mac's freekick at the pit,he new it was the last kick of the game, and he fooled everyone in the ground, and i mean everyone! And the millions watchin on the box.

43 yards out and he past it into the net, that was a master stroke from a majestic footballer.Gets my vote and it should've been goal of the season.

Think I'll go and dig up some "Hou must go" or "Is Michael leaving?" threads and see if they get the same reaction...   ;D
