What Car Do You Own/Drive?
« on: August 8, 2005, 02:39:23 PM »
I drive/own a Volvo 740 estate as it's a nice big 7 seater family car. Also handy for shipping my gear from gig to gig.

So tell me what car do you own/drive?

No excuse. Fucking horrific looking motor.

Lamba something or other.  Some Italian or Spanish jobbie or other which Mr May said suited me.  Mind you, he knew I had to have it properly sprayed in the team colours before I'd set foot inside it.  And I couldn't possibly drive round with a bull's head on the bonnet.  So those things were put right, and it seems to be a good little runner for going to the shops and up to Town and suchlike.

I AM considering an X-Type for my next car, which, despite Jaguar's protestations, we all know IS a Mondeo...

BMW Z4

Plus "The Beast" - a 19 year old Landrover Defender V8. 12 seater, spotlights all over plus footprint dents on bonnet where five scallies jumped on as the lads went passed in the Bus on the 26th.

The Beast is used for cricket away trips (full length roofrack) and shifting any old shite around.

It's only done 50000 miles - I'm only the third owner.

I've got a Ford Focus, 1.6.

Boss car, not least because it got me and some mates to Istanbul and back.

 ;D

I had an Escort before that. That was a load of crap that car.
