Puts Khan's performance into context considering he moved up in weight and lasted twice as long and boxed better.

Not really.

Khan was lucky to still be alive after that knock out he suffered.

Clearly it's still messing with his head as he won't take the so called easier Brook fight.

Glad i never got up for that fight.

I don't i'll ever watch a Canelo fight again anyway after those victories robbed from GGG.

Yes really. Khan gets shit on but he performed much better, judges had it close at that point. Plus he didn't get knocked down in every consecutive round.

If you wanted to have a pop at Khan for, in your opinion, ducking Brook then youíre always going to be better off just clearly making that point on its own rather than trying to link it to how Khan and Rocky fucking Fielding did respectively against Canelo. Itís not even the same ballpark.

As for boxers moving up in weight when they shouldnít, and being lucky to be able to carry on boxing afterwards and being clearly affected by the beating they took....you know, people in glass houses etc
I believe the average spend will go up £5 ahead and thatís being very conservative. So thatís £185k. Then you have a new 25k who will spend £10 a head thatís £250k. This is without the massively enhanced hospitality areas.

Definitely not buying either but as for streaming, Whyte v Chisora should have my evening sorted. Nothing like two hard-hitting heavyweights going at it.

So sad.
-------------------

Boxer Adonis Stevenson remains unconscious, promoter says
Montreal boxer Adonis Stevenson, 41, was knocked out by Oleksandr Gvozdyk of Ukraine in their light-heavyweight WBC championship fight on Dec. 1.

The promoter for Adonis Stevenson says the boxer remains unconscious and has not improved since doctors sedated him and placed him on a ventilator after a Dec. 1 knockout loss.

Promoter Yvon Michel said Thursday "doctors do not venture an opinion on what lies ahead" for the 41-year-old fighter. Stevenson is in intensive care at Quebec City's Hopital de l'Enfant-Jesusstill and "needs mechanical assistance to breathe."

Stevenson's condition deteriorated after he was helped to the dressing room following the fight against Oleksandr Gvozdyk of Ukraine at the Videotron Centre. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

He was admitted with a traumatic brain injury that required immediate neurosurgery. Intensive care specialist Dr. Alexis Turgeon said Dec. 5 that most patients suffer lasting effects from such injuries.

The hospital has not provided an official update on Stevenson's condition since.

I know he's been a shithouse in the past but this is highly unpleasant. Maybe he changed, none of us know him. Here's hoping we makes a full recovery. One thing we know for sure is his boxing career is over.

Something else that's leaving a bad taste in my mouth is the fact that Gvozdyv hasn't even been to visit him in hospital. Maybe he has, but I've not read anything on any of the boxing websites.

Josh has boxed great. What an impressive year for him. Wonder what Frampton will do now, not looked great for a few years, not convinced in the slightest with Jamie Moore either. That said he did alright tonight, not exactly shot, just not ideal for him to be fighting someone with that motor!
