How about some kind of reference to Istanbul being Hell. Like when we played Galatassary and someone held a sign up saying at Anfield "WELCOME TO HEAVEN."

Something like maybe "LIVERPOOL F.C: DREAMING OF HEAVEN IN HELL!" And have a pic of the cup on it. I am sure someone can help me with this idea???

Good idea but are you sure that turks won't find that offensive calling the place hell? I know that Galatasaray fans considers Ali Sami Yen stadium "hell" but is it just them or because I don't think that all people consider Istanbul is hell.

If you could just add a bit at the top saying "Sorry for the delay..." that would make it grand.

Like that one. I don't like hte Chlesea ones or the ones bashing AC or puns about Turkey.

We can be funny while not going out of our way to offend anyone.

We are the best fans in the world and May 25th is about us not anyone else.

When I said that one, I meant the "Normal Service has been resumed one".

Yes AC have won it more times than us but this is a message to the football world that we are back. Its not a dig at Milan as they are one of only two teams that have a better pedigree in Europe than us.

The Djimi one is good too though.

Just to be sure everyone's seen them - the banner rules seem ridiculously sensible:

The following items are not allowed inside the stadium:

-Flag or banner poles which are not made of wood, longer than 2m or more than 3cm in diameter; large banners more than 1m high.

So it can be 20m long, 1 m high and supported with broomsticks the entire way along!

If 2005 goes in the centre, that'd be better since it looks a little unbalanced.

Bloody hell, 7 months ago I'd have pissed in your face from laughing so hard if you said we'd be in the Champions League final.

That looks pretty good, although the slight wording change on that other banner so it ends resumed shortly does sound better.
