Would be nice to see some banners for the 100th anniversary of Bill Shankly's birthday - we play the Mancs the day before.

A load of Banners with some of his greatest quotes would be ace - a Kop full of this sort of thing would be sound as.

"For a player to be good enough to play for Liverpool, he must be prepared
to run through a brick wall for me then come out fighting on the other side"

"If Everton were playing at the bottom of the garden, I'd pull the curtains"

"Just tell them I completely disagree with everything they say!"(My all time personal fave, its like me on RAWK :P )

"Liverpool was made for me and I was made for Liverpool."

Thank for the advice... I'll look into it!!

I can't decide between the the following designs at the moment... Stars, cups or liverbird ? hmm

Turns out that this contains far too many letters... the font will be too small. I'll need to rethink

Sorry.  Great sentiments and I do most sincerely applaud them.   But no way should that kunt's face ever appear on a banner at Anfield.  Sorry again.   :wave

This is my banner that I've done for the new season mainly for the aways but for the united game and shanklys birthday my mate sits on the front row of the Kop as he is an assistant to a disabled supporter so could get him to hold it up with another guy?? Thoughts...

I am absolutely struggling with my Coutinho banner.

I made up the banner in InDesign and to be honest I would rather just pay someone to do it, but have no idea how to increase the resolution, if it's not high enough, nor getting a Liverbird/Coutinho's face (smiling, white) on the bottom left.

I'm half thinking I could do it myself but would struggle with the 'mágico' detail.

My first game will probably be Villa away, so want it made for then.

In production  :)  A long way to go... might still decide to paint it (felt isn't stuck down)

For Chrissakes be careful of that lovely floor.  Remember what happened to Roper's Mum's carpet - and the community hall.

Yep, it's acrylic paint! You can tell it's paint when you're infront of it but take a step back and it looks flawless.

Nice one. Saw that on Sunday, just to the side of the goal. Great to see a decent banner actually get to the stage of being produced and displayed in the ground, rather than simply just talked about. This sites needs more doers like yourself, rather than talkers.

Hey !

Looking for some advice about flags ? Is it offensive to make a my country(Estonia) and Liverpool mixed flag and wave it around Anfield ? Been planning to that over a year now, but hasnt really pushed myself. So if its normal to do something like that, I would want to know what is the best thing to add to this flag ( Liverpool logo, liverbird ) ?

If you want to do a flag for waving in the Kop mate, you really can't go wrong with something just red and white.

Hey !

don't get me wrong mate, I'm not trying to have a go at you or anything but I personally never understood the need for people to bring their country's flag to a club game. I seriously never understood that. Not even the flag of England.

I'm not trying to look like some superfan cause I'm far from it but I don't see the point in you bringing an Estonian flag to Anfield.

What exactly is the point of that? So that people on TV can see that you are there? What is the big deal about people seeing an Estonian(or any other) flag on the Kop? I seriously don't get it.   It's a genuine question.

There was a St. George's Cross flag with the Liverpool crest on the Kop for the opening game against Stoke and it really looked shit.

My opinion anyway.  :wave

For something that size, it would have to be held above peoples heads, like a mini-surfer. You'd need the co-operation of about 15-20 people around you too, which can be difficult at times. But the message would then be difficult to read.

Don´t really understand why you would have a Estonia flag at anfield? Whats that got to do with Liverpool? I understand a Union Jack with Liverpool printed on it, or maybe a spanish flag during the Rafa regim or a Brazil/Denmark flag with Lucas/Agger but Estonia? I´m from Sweden but I would never think about making a swedish flag with a liverbird on it and taking it to Anfield.

Maybe just a simple red/white flag with a liverbird and "Estonian Red" or something on it?

Mine are mostly hand-made, except one ultra-style one which I got printed here: http://www.ultrasshop.com/index.php?a=sklep&k=82

Quite a convenient service. Took a few weeks to be delivered, and looks good (obviously dependent on the quality of the original artwork you send them). You get a fire-proof cert thing with them for any arsey stewards, too The telescopic poles do bump the price up though!

Which one is your ultra-style one?

Alright lads/ladies.

I'm at Spurs and Rubin Kazan and there is a 8 days until the match so I have no excuse not to knock something up.

Thinking red bed sheet and felt- sew it on if I have time, or move my bed against the wall, loads of newspaper down and glue it.

I'm shite at ideas and not very witty at all so could anyone help out? ;D

Was thinking of

"And Now
Jürgen
Believe Us"

But I reckon someone else will already have knocked that up. Any ideas?

Just need red bed sheet, enough felt sheets for the lettering and glue or sewing stuff. Shouldn't be too expensive but I'm a bit skint so if we could go halves that would be sweet.  I'm in on a single at Spurs, not sure if upper or lower. Hopefully someone next me won't mind holding it up pre and post match.

My brother had this idea and would like to know opinions?

Bear in mind it's just a mock up and the fonts and proportions would all change etc. His first name, with the umlaut as a smiley face in Bourissia Dortmund colours to represent where he comes form and a nod to his past.

I mean, the more we say smiley face the more we aren't sure. But I think at the very least it's an interesting visual and should be original. Obviously on the actual banner it'd all change to actually be in proportion etc, it's just a mock up on MS Paint (I love how that program has always been on Windows since i first had a PC ;D)

I keep changing my mind now. It's either absolutely boss, or absolutely shite.
