Josemi is looking very agricultural out there - lots of aimless clearances when he has time to make an easy short pass.  Also slow.  And not winning headers.  Come on, Joe!

Stupid .tv.....

Milan Baros has marked his return from injury with a goal from the penalty spot, but Joonas Kolkka equalised for Palace to produce a 1-1 half time scoreline at Anfield today

Harry Kewell is looking pretty good, the interlinking between Garcia, Kewell and Baros always looking dangerous, even if it doesn't always come off.  Alonso giving some very tasty feeds to them all, although he has overhit several.  Riise active, and Djimi downright skilled and amazing!  Didi doing his normal thing, although the ref is not having a good game and making the wrong or not making the right call about one third of the time.

Hyppia slow but imperious, Carra 23 Gold as usual - it was quite funny to see them both defending on the edge of the Crystal Palace box - cue mass panic amongst the Palace defenders!  Still worried about Josemi, though.

Kirkland was sort of non-plussed by the Palace goal - anyone think he was at fault?

Anyone think Garcia's shot there at the end was in?

Kewell's assist for the second goal was a jewel.  Baros is en fuego.

Nineteen, we want nineteen.

Sorted:

Milan Baros has marked his return from injury with two goals to give Liverpool a 2-1 half time lead over Crystal Palace at Anfield this afternoon.
The Reds had sorely missed the Czech striker in last week's defeat to Birmingham and we saw why as he produced a powerful display.

His first goal came from the penalty spot after he had been fouled by Leigertwood. And he was on hand again on the stroke of half time to
restore Liverpool's lead after Kolkka had stunned the Kop with
a superb equaliser.
Justice for the 96.

It looks like it will be a draw - lets hope for a 3rd goal and remember Palace are in a good run of form as of late. So it's not suprising.....

We've given away the lead twice. They have had 3 shot on goal. Don't think Palace are one of the leagues top attacking teams so the defending just can't be good enough.   :no
