Diaz's carried them and worked harder than those two put together. Dom poor again. Jones sluggish, Robbo erratic, Konate very poor. All in all a night to forget. With regards to Nunez, I’ve lost all faith in the lad now. His misses have cost us dearly.

I thought Gomez was coming on for McAllister and Trent moved in to midfield. Couldn't believe it when we changed the fullbacks. Not making Danns out to be second coming but surely you put on your attacking players in that situation.

Can I just say at the risk of sounding like one of those, but Mo has been wank for awhile. When he’s not on the ball, he doesn’t seem to do much, and he doesn’t seem to want to get the ball and face the opponent. It just feels that since he’s come back we’ve not been as fluid as we could be up front and it’s shown. Legend for us but my fucking god he’s been awful for a bit.

It's been a great season on the whole, we've just run out of gas. Our forward line is so out of form and I don't know what this weird shit we play where we pass the ball horizontally, it's an accident waiting to happen.

Today's performance was dreadful though, think we lost our heads and the pressure finally told. Sickening end to the season, as what had such promise will now fizzle out. Thought Everton played well and while it wasn't why we lost tonight but the referee today, absolutely fucking shocking. Completely gave in to the crowd and let the atmosphere dictate his decisions. The issue isn't with VAR it's with the plebs who run it. The Diaz non foul at the end just summed up the performance.

Might have been our worst ever performance under Jürgen, all things considered. We had terrible results before, but mostly when everyone was injured or that mad Villa game. This was from top to toe utterly abysmal stuff.
