By the rule of the law, it was offside; the knee, not the hand. But when you have to watch it on VAR that long, the old rule was to give the benefit to the striker when they appear in line.

And the fact that the flag went up. Which if it was them it absolutely wouldn't have. "Benefit to the attacker" for some teams. Like when we're defending and have to bust a gut to get back.
