Jurgen has balls like a Bengali tiger, didn't hesitate to throw a bunch of kids into a Wembley cup final with the game in the melting pot. In the circumstances that was one of the great cup final performances. You can't beat togetherness and heart and they showed it in spades with no shortage of quality. Kelleher and VVD especially can take a bow but they were all heroes today.

Hugely, hugely important imo.

1. In this season of all seasons finishing empty handed would be dreadful.
2. Getting the first one of the season takes huge pressure off and gives belief in getting more.
3. After the captains call to arms, it’s fitting and morale boosting he gets the winner
4. For the kids and newbies, that first trophy lift will gel the whole team and give them belief
5. For new managers potentially lined up, is shows this is a team of winners
6. For Klopp, what a way to go

Quansah comes on and just waltzes around Chelsea players as if they weren’t there. Bradley and Elliott were superb. Praise to the kids who came on as we needed them as some of the players were running on fumes.
