Poor that. Nothing more to say. Lacks intensity and even desire. Missing players showing.

Need to come out looking like a team who wants to win.

Come on Liverpool!!!! YNWA!

Understandably disjointed with a few players returning, playing out of position, etc. I thought we started to take control as the game went on and we had way more opportunities than the commentators gave us credit for, but then a bit of poor marking and suddenly we're level.

We really should go on and win this, as long as we have the legs for it.

Whose out of position? Bar Mac Allister who was an 8 at Brighton everyone is playing where they usually do.

Just looks sluggish

Looks weak in midfield and weak up top...

Give them until 60 then Grav and Gakpo on...

Referee is playing into their hands - defenders grabbing Nunez

Bar Jota no-one looks like they give a shit, pathetic. So complacent and slow since minute one.

Trent is a liability in defense, he is so easy to get past like for their corner which they score from.

Bradley was a fresh of breath air in that run of games. I love Trent but he really can lack intensity especially defending

Opposition getting past Trent as if hes a training cone. We have no rhythm or pace to our game, sloppy in defending, easily countered our press is subpar

Move Macca back to the 6, bring Harvey on, thats about the best we can do with our bench and perhaps Gakpo later on

Just move the ball faster, so many times that half an extra touch or two was taken.

No one in particular was the whole team.

Endo needs to come off, put Mac back in DM and get Harvey on.

Awful first half, lacking any sort of creativity or urgency here.

A really odd performance. It's like kids football, every time we have the ball we're looking for the killer pass even when it's not remotely on. We have no control of midfield or of the game itself as a result and it's giving Burnley plenty of hope.

I don't understand if this is a tactical thing- you could argue the hopeful passes lead to counter pressing opportunities high up the pitch which suits us better than trying to unlock 11 men behind the ball. But with the amount of very good technical players you wish we'd just slow down and take our time in moments.

He's too soft for a defender

I think we've been so used to just accepting Trent's defensive issues but then a proper defender like Bradley comes in who is just an inexperienced kid but looks like someone with so much more defensive nouse compared to Trent.

1-1 always feels better than 0-0 for some reason. Probs the best I can say about that half. Diaz had a great chance to square it for Darwin from the left wing at around 20 mins and delayed the pass. Needs to do better. Jota v good as usual. I’d put mac back in the 6 position and bring Cody on for Endo.

Burnley look like what we should look like. Smart, agile and wanting to go forward and challenge.

We have been, quite frankly, shit. No passion, going through the motions. It's very worrying. Especially given how light the bench is.

The referee hasn't helped. Allowing them to timewaste all day. Jota absolutely rugby tackled in the box, saw it given for Man United a few weeks ago, not for us of course. 2-0 at that point and it's over.

But the performance all round is shocking, we've got injuries and sickness but after last week, Klopp's final stretch and to go back top of the league, it's poor.

Im guessing many of the players are unwell. If not, then the effort and intensity levels have been pathetic. Burnely would be 2-1 up were it not for our keeper pulling out a worldie save

What save was that? So far all I remember them making is the goal, the shot that went wide, and the shot that hit the crossbar which was off

Endo off at half time is the obvious play (hopefully). Then with a bit more energy and playing on the front foot in midfield (and quicker distribution from Mac), the rest of the team should be able to play themselves into better performanecs

The cheats beat this lot with an aggregate score of 12-1 over 3 games in the last year. Meanwhile we struggle - just shows whag we’re up against. When we don’t steamroll teams our plan B is hit or miss.

Mac, Endo and Jones have been terrible.
Diaz jinking about and Robbos old tenacity is still in the treatment room.

We have enough to win this if we make better decisions but i’m not confident at all

Fucking hate Warnock the depressing c*nt.

Still think Diaz should go on the right as him always turning in from the left is so predictable.

Unfortunately my Spanish IPTV stream is off today so iv'e had the misfortune of listening to him. He's an absolute bell end that Warnock.

Only one team trying to play football and it’s not us. Diaz is so frustrating, it’d be nice if he 1) learnt how to release the ball early and 2) learnt how to play the ball in behind so Nunez is running onto it

Disappointing first half. Burnley the better side and had some good chances early on. After that we took control, we scored but we end the half even. Would like to think that we can hurt them even more with those balls in behind their defence.

Trent is becoming a problem, since he's come back the team has gone back to a complete lack of intensity, all he does is walk around congesting the middle waiting for space to ping long passes.

That first 25 was embarrassing. They looked almost annoyed at having to play. Bizarre.

It it is frustrating going back to the "Trent is never at FB show" after Bradley dominating that entire side for almost a month.

Talk of comfortable wins and throwing kids on in the pre match thread always looked arrogant and so it's proving. We just haven't turned up at all.

Need to massively up the tempo and the intensity in the second half rather than expect Burnley to roll out the red carpet for us.

We haven’t been great but what gets posted in the pre match thread has no bearing on how the players play.

Ref gives Jota a pen and VAR will agree it's a pen, he doesn't so they don't. It's crazy, it's either a pen or not.

Think Alexis needs to go back to the six, just not getting enough of the ball.
