I think De Zerbi & Motta look like the top candidates

De Zerbi would be a disaster.

My gut feel is it’s going to be De Zerbi. And I’d be more than happy with that.

At least we can stop worrying about playing 343 and not having the squad for it.

Let's shithouse Arsenal and City to levels not even they can dream of.

Bernardo Silva crying as he gets sent off at Anfield, and Simeone laughing at him as he leaves the pitch.

I'll put up with the football just for that.

I know we're a fairly liberal fanbase, but do we think that we're going to do the unthinkable, make a move we've never done before, one that mighht divide the fanbase completely?

And that's appointing a bald guy. Are we ready for Arne Slot?

What Motta has done at Bologna is impressive but it still doesn't top what Amorim has achieved with Sporting. Will be interesting to see what they have up their sleeve here. Just hope they're not trying to be too clever for their own good.

Hodgson had a lovely bouffant in a Hyacinth Bucket kind of way.

Or maybe we’re lining up lower league Rock God Gareth Ainsworth?

I really, really hope it's a case of Amorim not 100% sure on coming and not the other way around. If De Zerbi comes in he will have us flying that's for sure.

Xabi was the one wasn't he? Hurts a little more now.

So you hope we are the desperate ones being turned down by Amorim to join West Ham, rather than us deciding he isn't the right fit and someone else is a better fit for us?

That's the spirit!

I'm really not sold on the idea of de Zerbi. So if not Amorim, i'm massively struggling to see who else could fill the void.

When Klopp made his announcement, there were two candidates on most people's lips - Xabi and Amorim. To possibly not get one of them would be a real blow.

The new manager obviously might not work out, but that doesn't mean we've fucked it up. It's just how football works unless you've got a sure fire choice like Klopp or Guardiola.

Alonso didn't want to come to us, and who knows on Amorim.

Why? Alonso obviously is someone we would have wanted, but if we looked at Amorim and decided he isn't right for us, which appears to be the case, why would it be a blow we didn't get him?

It's a blow not getting the manager being hyped up but isn't what we are looking for?
