If my medical knowledge is anything to go by (it isn't), then it looked a slight hamstring injury given how he went off. 2 weeks off and back for Chelsea.

Best we can hope for really is an injury that's about the same length as the rest of AFCON. Even with a mild hamstring injury we're looking at similar to Trent and Szoboszlai.

How the @#£& did Ayew not get a red for that potential ankle breaker. I assumed the ref had just missed the challenge. Awful
The Comms team are clearly in Chris Hughtons camp and think Ayew is wonderful because he plays for the hodge.

Thinking positively, Mo might get a little midwinter break.
Disappointment in this AFCON may translate into determination for the rest of the season.

But I personally hope it's just a precaution as Efan Ekoku has said on the BBC, and that he leads Egypt all the way to the final, and he comes back in triumphant mood.
