Full time: Bournemouth burnt bright from the start, but in the end we deserved to win. We got a soft pen, but the Mac Allister red card was a genuinely poor decision. 3-1.

I feel a bit deflated because Mac Allister is a big loss ahead of the Newcastle game and Tierney will keep screwing us over. An appeal won’t be successful because they will always find a way to justify it.

Looking forward to seeing Casemiro assaulting someone and not getting booked later on. If that's a red card, there should be at least one a game.

Started terribly, got a little better and positive reaction to the joke of a red card. However, gave up too many chances again. Work to be done but better to do it after taking 3 points

Well done to the lads though, brilliant especially considering we had 10 for over half hour. Szoboszlai is outrageously good, thinks so quickly on the ball and his driving runs are class

Hope Trent injury isn't serious! Well done to Endo, some wonderful touches and good to see some strong challenges in the middle again

Really good result, Szoboszlai was the best player on the pitch and is going to be an incredible player for us.

The red card has to be rescinded, terrible decision by the referee compounded by a worse decision by the VAR not to advise that it should be overturned.

Good game overall - Nunez when he came on showed an intent to press etc that I like. What happened to the referee's instructions to add on more time for time wasting etc? 10 subs, 2 goals (iuncluding a penalty which did get briefly checked by VAR), a red card (which apparently did get checked, and took 90 seconds for Mac Allister to get off the pitch) - and only 6 mins? Compare that to the Fulham game - 1 penalty goal and 10 subs - 9 mins.
