Hoping Robbo is just rusty but he's played A LOT of football over the last few years and looks way, way off it today.

Looked clearly off for me.
The lines put up looked dodgy as fuck though
Yes, it was, as was theirs, close but when you can it with the naked eye you almost do not need the lines to confirm it.
Onoy when they start defining what an arm is does it get tricky

James’s position for Diaz goal … Trent gets a documentary on such defending.

Amazing we didn't get a lecture from Neville/Carragher on that, hey.

Whichever team is more clinical with their chances will win this.. Both are going to get them..

Elliot or Curtis on after 60 minutes for Gakpo or Jota..

Neville was straight in to excuse him. I wonder how he'd have reacted if it was Trent?

Something like that probably

Boehly and his henchman look like right dodgy cnuts.

Who's the gentleman sitting next to "Chelsea co-owner" Todd Boehly?

I imagine Tsimikas will be on sometime today.

Controlled the 1st half, some good play but fell asleep and paid the price. Gane should be over but same old story there. We were poor last 10mins tho so we need to fix that at HT.

Chances are still there for us to win it tho.

I think he is isolated, the ball is going to James in acres of space, so maybe he needs to be closer, but then james has a simple 1-2 with Sterling and Robertson is bypassed. He needs help.

Carragher asked him about James' positioning, Neville's response was "he couldn't anticipate Salah playing such a brilliant pass".

So you don't feel confident in our forward lineup scoring but you do when Chelsea attack? Stop talking shite.

He's not wrong. There were two or three times when an easy 5-yard pass to a forward's feet would have put them in on goal and they cocked it up. Really hope they can tighten that up.

Konate having a great game but being asked to do a lot. Mac and Szoboszlai both look good and working hard but we clearly need a DM and Robbo needs support on the left.

Bit more sharpness and I can see us being a force in an attacking sense. Squad overall isn't good enough for a title challenge as it stands IMO.

Considering we have Mac we really should have Gomez at left back for some solidity, not as though Robbo is doing anything in attack, he continues to give the ball away cheaply.

The issue is Robbo being overloaded time and time again. Gomez wouldn't stop that.

Jones on at 6, Mac as an 8, Gakpo false 9 and Jota taken off for me.

Both of our defensive flanks woefully exposed

Mo looks like a man on a mission

Extended lingering close-ups of the managers and chairmen while the game is going on the background...we need more of them..they're great

Terrible coverage of the play by Sky. Constant close ups of the bench and even lingering shots of the owners. Nearly every time a player's mentioned he is in close up. It's as though the game itself is not that important.

Robbo needs replacing in our first 11 probably. But hard to tell given how little help he’s getting from Gapko.

He needs more help from Gakpo yes but he's also out of position constantly. He's playing as a LCB in this system. Virgil has lots of covering to do.

Zero connection to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia I'm sure. Who already own a club in England and have been giving Chelsea hugely inflated fees for players that have assisted them hitting FFP targets.

Desperately need that to sign a DM to team up with Mac on the left then figure out what we do with Robbo’s position.
