Hope we have a lot of difficult aways at the start. Make sure this fucking club gets it arse in gear over the next 8 weeks.

Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham, Brighton away in first 10. Delighted - need to start with a bang. Do well here and hit the straps all the way til Christmas.

Burnley v Liverpool
Man City v Arsenal

These are the only two that are 100% confirmed by my source. Screenshot this before the FBI takes it down.

At least we'll know really soon have we actually fixed anything over the summer. Brutal away schedule leaves us wtih little wriggle room.Continue our shocking away form from past season and the next one will be gone by autumn, improve on it and we could be flying high. Would be nice if there was at least some easing into it, but fuck it, it is what it is.

Happy with that. Chelsea were a total mess at the back of last season and have a lot to do this summer, and not a lot of wiggle room to do it.

Come out of those 1st 10 games with 24+ points and I think we're on to something. Tough aways to start but get them out the way when everyone is still settling in and see where we are

After Paris I wanted nothing to do with this sport. Watching City cheat to that treble after watching our season unravel nearly killed any love for football but I'm weirdly looking forward to next season now

Always prefer to start with some tougher aways as if you get through them ok you are suddenly flying with a kind fixture list, hardly that brutal anyway it's not exactly City, Utd and Arsenal.

I'd much rather play Chelsea early, Newcastle we beat at their place so not worried about that, Spurs will still be shit, Brighton is the toughest away, but may have lost both Mac Allister and Caicedo by then, so might not be that tough.

You'd like to think Pochettino will stillbbe tinkering by then given how big their squad is and the fact they've brought a lot of dross in on top of some already underperforming players. We should also be on our way to integrating now signings in ourselves by then so should be able to go there with a competent game plan looking to win it.

Better start this season is vital.

To be fair, a team like Chelsea away first is no bad thing. A bit of a shot to nothing. Yes, I'd like to see us with 3 points to get the ball rolling, but it does mean pressure off to an extent.
It looks to me as if we have signed another 'average' player. I'll hold back my complete opinion until I see the lad play

Appreciate after our previous season this is unlikely to be our concern but City have got an absolute piece of piss run in during April and May. You finish above them you win the league.
Football, like life, isn't about getting what you want or even deserve. It's about appreciating what you have.

If they can't get motivated to beat Chelsea after the lukewarm piss wrapped in feeble shit we served up last time at Stamford Bridge - we have bigger problems than simply losing points.

Even without any TV interference then there's 5 home games Sunday or Monday straight away to Europa League games

But being at home 5 times after EL games works well

West Ham (h) Sunday or Monday
Brighton (a) Sunday or Monday
Forest (h) Sunday or Monday
Brentford (h) Sunday or Monday
Fulham (h) Sunday or Monday
United (h) Sunday or Monday

22/23 - away vs Chelsea (requested to be away)
21/22 - away vs Fulham
20/21 - home vs Leeds
19/20 - home vs Norwich
18/19 - home vs West Hame
17/18 - away vs Watford
16/17 - away vs Arsenal (did we request an away this year too for the new Main Stand opening?)
15/16 - home vs Stoke
14/15 - home vs Southampton
13/14 - home vs Stoke

More than we've aways - and bear in mind we requested one of those aways also.

Chelsea away could be anything.  They'll get that new manager bounce, but at the same time it'll take a while for him to work out his best 11 and get them tuned in tactically.

Some of those may move due to Cup games though.

I think FA Cup 4th round replays would fall when we're due to play Chelsea.
And League Cup semis may clash with Arsenal.

Not 100% on that though. I haven't seen confirmation of cup fixtures for 23/24, so tried to match up 22/23 to next season.

7 - Manchester United will play at home in their opening Premier League match for a seventh consecutive season, the longest ongoing run of any side and longest since Arsenal's seven-season run between 2012-13 and 2018-19
