We are so slow upstairs. We don't engage our brain quick enough. The whole midfield and defence are shocking how slow they play the game. They don't pass it quick enough and they don't move when they don't have the ball.

Trent needs a spell on the sidelines but we have no one. Matip needs to go in the summer, we know know Gomez isn't good enough. Robbo looks shit but he mostly has to keep coming inside to find a pass but his crossing has been shit for a while.

Those midfield 3 shouldn't be here next season.

That is atrocious. Trent’s attitude stinks, him and Matip are absolute liabilities. Naby is a red card walking, why haven’t we changed him. Milner and Hendo too slow and too safe. Pretty bad that. We just need to find a way to get the win. Palace seemed equally low on confidence and have let us have the ball in the early part but we have not done much with it. They have grown in confidence and had the better chances.

Everytime Keita is near one of their players and they dove (The last three times) - absolutely no comment apart from suggesting he might get sent off.

Decent enough from us, we could have had a couple, doing well in posession. If we score then I can see us getting a few. We've gifted them a few down their left hand side. Defending hasn't been too good overall there.

Need to pick it up. Think Milner, Henderson and Gatkpo have done pretty well and Jota looks rusty, but getting involved. Some nice stuff from Robertson who looks like he's got a bit of energy back.

Brutal stuff so far. Lots of sterile possession for us to start, then Palace seemed to realise we weren't posing much threat and decided to start pressing us higher up the pitch at which point they started to look the more threatening team.

Keita's going to get himself sent off if he's not careful and Trent and Matip need to sort their heads out. Jota and Gakpo have looked reasonably sharp when we've actually managed to get the ball to them but the midfield behind them is so, so slow.

Good summary. Our collective confidence is totally shot.

Keita has to be subbed this second half - the lad’s just totally devoid of form/confidence/ energy. As a team, we’re just so below par - virtually every second ball is lost, we look jaded and slow. Big Joel looks like he wishes he was somewhere else.

Yeah it's going to be like this until the end of the season, so much confidence lacking and so many silly mistakes. That Trent shot looked like it was going in mind. We seem to play well for 20-25 minutes and then lose control of the game.

Definitely going to be a slog and these players have given us so much, but clear as day mentally we're just not right in certain areas. I'm ok with sterile possession, but we've no-one who can take the game or get up and down the pitch.
