If they are winning titles, you can't call them meaningless as it's another victory for sport washing.

No one will care if City wins the league, it's just another day. In the other hand if it is Arsenal the media won't shut up and they will hype up Arteta and say he's better than Klopp or the next Klopp.

May as well give Arsenal the title now. At least it's not United

And there’s the rub. If you base your opinions on anyone on what a bunch of spotty key board warriors spout you’re likely to reach the wrong conclusion.

And at least Arsenal are a properly funded club unlike the sports washers.
isn't their Stadium named after a Sportswashing organisation?

Problem is I hate both City and Arsenal equally. Arsenal online fans are so insufferable and obsessed with shitting on Liverpool and City fans are the same.

Just our luck City are looking a mess.

The draws to Fulham Brighton and Everton and losses to Leeds and Forest hurt so bad.

City are a worse team with Haaland, they look out of sorts attacking wise now when games are tight.

It's meaningless for everyone bar City fans. Can always say they've bought titles

You can't just judge it on the football bit though. There is the other side of sport washing where other states see what they can do as well, you cannot ignore that City winning another title is another reason for yet another state to enter football. I would sooner they didn't win a thing.

Most of their players are at the World Cup as well and their points total flatters them.

The 5 x VAR checks didn't work because the Accounts dept didn't process the international wire on time. Nothing the half time break won't fix...

Could not even get a simple wire transfer right at half time.

Big Ivan the Liverpool fan would have loved that.

I did not know he is a Liverpool fan.

On a side note, he is excellent and if his name was Ivando Toninho a bigger club will have bought him by now.

Mixed emotions. I don't want City to drop points when it looks like we can't win league. Why should others benefit so easily when they've always ran us close

I feel the same yeno. Feel a bit of a shithouse feeling like it as well. If we were playing well would they fuck be dropping points

We won practically every game until we sealed it. That'll never happen again.

Perhaps not. My point still stands though. If we do challenge next season it doesn't necessarily mean City will barely drop a point. They could do just like they did the season we won it. Now stop depressing yourself over something that may not ever happen.

Any season a proper club wins the league it’s a victory for football. Not that we ll win it, city players clearly got the World Cup on their minds today and we got 8 going so will be interesting how we cope later.

they've always dropped points in the first half of the season, did last year for example, plus the year we won the title.  Look at the historical tables if you don't believe me

I loved the fearlessness of Brentford - if more teams had their mindset against City, the results might not be the foregone conclusions they so often are.

I also loved the way Brentford players exaggerated contact, and did to City what City habitually do themselves, with their various forms of shithousery.

I genuinely wouldn’t have any games played this weekend, too many players in World Cup mode.

Oh would You just  shut up you mug, the stupidity is having a World Cup mid season, glad the games went ahead.
