Not much chance of scoring if you refuse to take a shot

How and where ?

You can’t just drill it from 20 yards all the time. Spurs have held them away the entire game

Soon as you do that with these they become Brighton again
If you don't limit yourself with bad thoughts, you can fly

Nothing wrong with a boring 1-0 away win. I’d settle for that at Brighton right now.

Kick the ball around until the Spurs defence makes a mistake or display some brilliance, or get a bit of luck with the rub of the green.

For this season. Be real.
So, after 7 games and you do not look like you can win the league, the season is over. I think you'll find there is more than that.

The 2 games that we missed (Chelsea,Wolves) will be tougher than as planned due to new manager bounce.

Just our luck to play Brighton just after the new manager came in as that was a Potter style team. If we play them this week it might have been different.

I am looking at the poor form and the poor squad. And looking at the reinforcements of the squads of our closest opponents and forming an OPINION.
Do you seriously think we will get any where with the midfield that we have? We have failed to reinforce this area since the departure of Gini and the quality keeps shrinking. And we had the opportunities to do so last summer.
Melo?  He's another Davies.

How long do you think a 'new manager bounce' lasts? They won't be played until January at the very earliest, most likely April.

Palace Leeds is a dreadful watch. The gap between the energy levels on view and the quality, is a chasm. I feel sorry for the ball.

I questioned Scamacca signing a few weeks ago, looks like he’s hitting his stride now so good on him.

Maybe it will make me look like a homer but we should have signed him. Young, ball winner, can play in multiple spots. Exactly what we need for a midfielder right now.

The other thing with this game is it’s like clockwork in that a game reffed by Tierney turns into a shit show. Worst ref in the league by far. Bald headed clown.

Jesus, 5 more minutes torture in the Palace-Leeds match. Absolute turd fest. Maddens me that these teams always turn up like prime Barca when they rock up at Anfield, but against each other they are appalling.
