On the Eurostar heading to Lille. Then local to Paris. I’m the only one in my group without a ticket. Any spare and I might just name my next newborn after  you!

What time did people stay at the fan park for and has anyone got a photos of it towards the end - around an hour before or KO time?

We left the fanpark around 5-6pm, not long after Jamie Websters set, to go grab some food. There was a lot of Reds doing the same, many presumably off to the stadium, but also lots of ticketless fans going off to places where they had reservations booked etc.

We came back to the Fan Park about 19:30 - 20:00 to get back in for the screening (wish we´d just gone our reservation to be honest!). It was a lot more chaotic by this stage, more reminiscient of the start of the day trying to get in. By this time a lot of Reds who were there in the day had been replaced by Parisians. The atmosphere was not as jovial, but it wasn´t menacing either - was kind of feeling like an anti-climax by that stage.

We eventually got in through the same bottleneck as the start of the day - a bit quicker this time. Once we were inside, most people had gathered by the first screen, without venturing down to the further screens.

We tried to get past the first screen, and that was actually the scariest part of the day for me (and our mates agreed - although obviously nothing on the stadium) because it felt like it was developing into a crush also, and if something had sparked a panic it would have been very bad. People looked concerned, but it eased off as we got past the first screen. Long story short, the Fan Park was not well organised at all either.

We arrived at the second screen at about 20:50, so no long before the intended KO.

Mood in the game was kind of flat - like I said a lot of Reds had been replaced by Parisians (around our screen at least).

As soon as the game had finished, we turned and the whole side fencing had been pulled down on to its side so we all poured out of that. Can´t say who had taken it down, didn´t even hear it just saw it lying flat - but it was a relief because it would have been a nightmare all 50,000 people trying to get back out the way we came in. The Riot Police were looking a bit more menacing at that stage, and herded us one way down the street.

I had a mate at the front screen. They were tear gassed by cannisters coming over the wall quickly afer the match finished (some of the others on the WhatsApp group can verify that as well). Said it was a panic, and at the front screen they were the furthest from any entrances/exits - he was pretty shook up. We thankfully missed all that, and also missed the riot police streaming into the bars near the entrance. Don´t know what started all that.

I just checked and I don´t have any photos of the match an hour before KO, but I can defo ask around (and the WhatsApp group might have some as well). Is this for Phil Scraton??

I saw what was happening with the fence near the screen. A small group of lads tried lifting a panel up to get out because they couldn't be arsed with the long wait for people to get out of the one exit at the end. When it wouldn't lift, they started trying to tip it over which a few of us warned them not to do. The police then chucked a fucking stupid amount of tear over the fence and not just at those few people either. That then caused anger and quite a few fans started chucking plastic cups with bear over the fence which again resulted in even more tear gas.

There was no thought for who was on our side of the fence. The amount of kids who were crying because they couldn't see properly was ridiculous. Once everybody got out, a load of Liverpool fans went directly for the police which caused a riot. To only offer one way out in that situation was dangerous.

If it wasn't for Google maps I wouldn't have had a clue how to find the next metro station or how to get back to my hotel which was about 9 miles away. The police offered no help whatsoever. By this point a load of young local lads were gathering around looking a bit suspicious.

Unfortunately, I stopped recording videos and taking pictures once Jamie Webster was finished.

We left not long after Jamie had finished to head to the ground, leaving our mates who didn't have tickets about a third of the way back. As we left we could see that loads were gathering at that first screen, and we tried to tell the ones wearing red that there was loads of room further down now that people had left for the game, but they didn't seem to believe us. You could already see the locals streaming in at that point too.

Our mates who stayed there had a good time watching the game, but said it was very dicey getting away afterwards. My dad and another one of our crowd decided not to stand for that long and went and had a steak-frites and a bottle of red and watched the game in a restaurant on the left bank with a mixture of reds and friendly real fans. Turned out they had the best match-time experience of all of us.

Attached 3 pics. Taken at 19.35, 20.35 and 22.50 respectively. It was overcrowded full of locals. To be fair to them, they were cheering us on. I did worry as well when the game ended how was we going to get out but people around us tore down the fencing and we all escaped. Although on the other side was other locals shouting hala Madrid etc. few reds said a few things back but I think it was a case of get out quickly and quietly. I had to walk half an hour because the tram service was closed for part of the route (I was prepared for that as that’s how I got in earlier).

Was there until end of Jamie Webster and had a bar booked for the game 20 minutes walk away. Had no intention of going anywhere near the ground or watching the game in the fan park, although it was good during the day.

Was packed day and night. Got to be honest, if crap hadn't happened at the stadium and kick off not delayed, there would've been a serious problem at the fan park entrance.

Yeah, I don't think I've read anything from anyone saying they'd be going to the stadium without having a ticket, even though you'd imagine there would have been some who did. However, all the talk beforehand was people wondering about whether they'll show the match in the fanzone and if not what alternatives there are. Loads of people booked places in bars, pubs and other venues. I went to Chalet du Lac and without having done a survey or despite being a bit drunk, I would estimate that at least 90 percent of the people in there were non-locals. I think behind us there were some local people, but other than that (and the staff of course), there were people from all over the place. I had scouse guys behind me in the queue before it opened and Americans in front of me.
