That's one the possible routes.

You also have Métro line 2 and changing at La Chapelle-Gare du Nord and then RER lines B or D.

In both cases, I'd count a good hour and a half to reach the stadium area, versus 45mn in normal circumstances. From there, you'll to walk throught security etc. so a good 45minutes I'd say until you're seated.

Thanks for the info mate, appreciated

It has been confirmed as recently as today that there will be a so-called fan zone on the Avenue du Trône, which is a wide avenue in Eastern Paris. It's less than 10mn away from the city center itself (Les Halles-Chatelet-Saint-Michel area) and 25-30mn walk. But these timings are bases on everyday situation. On Saturday, it will be very crowdy and it will probably take longer.

Miles away from the stadium, well a good train ride anyway.

When moving from that possible fan zone to the stadium is it literally getting on one of the A line RER trains (west bound) and changing at Chatelet Les Halles to a B line RER train (northbound)?

If so, I wonder how long it’ll take. Could be chaos trying to get from the fan zone to the stadium
I would guess most in the fan zone won’t have tickets. Can’t imagine in a city like Paris the regular support will be anywhere near any designated zone! That ended in Shevchenko park!
Madrid was a shame but not the same, turned into soccer am zone!

Wow!  :o So 2 hrs 15 mins to get from the fanpark to the stadium and Real fans have the park right next to Stade de France?  ::)
We’ll still finish in top four - and they won’t. You can quote me on this in May.

Madrid was pretty much exactly the same. Avenida Felipe is 9km from the ground and the public transport options were much more limited. I’m pretty sure the entertainment stopped around 6pm as well.

The Paris one is 13km away from the ground.

2h15mn really is a maximum, considering there will be heavy trafic, both whne walking crowded streets and in the RER and/of Métro, and many security checks.

For those with Bar bookings (I have Chalet du Lac sorted), what are your thoughts on watching the game in the bar vs Fan Zone? I am leaning toward the bar to be honest as less likely to get soaked in beer, and more likely to actually see the game properly than in the fan zone.

Thinking Afternoon in the fan zone then back to the bar for the match.

I’m on the same page as you, fan park for the ale and the sun in the afternoon, then onto Belushi’s for the match

Doesn’t seem to be. I booked the 30 Euro one. As good as open bar sounds, I’ll be going to fan park if there is one  showing the game

I see the bar booking as kind of a backup plan in case the game isn't shown in the fan zone, it's shite there or I don't find another place where I like it. I'm also in the Chalet du Lac and got the 30-Euro-ticket, but I'll definitely go to the fan zone first and then go with what I feel like.

Which Chalet du Lac, because there are at least two of them, on opposite sides of Paris ?

There will definetly be a fan park for Liverpool supporters, on the Cours de Vincennes/Avenue du Trône, at the Nation Métro/RER station. So far, we don't know what there will be in that zone/park, but it looks like they will screen the match.

There are two Belushi's (same as for the Chalet du lac, but it's a coincidence). Which one is yours ?

Fan zone set to be announced. Open from 12 till 5. Unfortunately no screening there. Hopefully the club will be able to organise somewhere else where we can watch the match.

This Is Anfield understands that the fan zone will be located in the southeast of Paris, on Cours de Vincennes.

This appears to be a larger area than the square in Madrid, with the street itself being closed off. There will be large screens, food outlets and entertainment from the BOSS night lads.

There will not, though, be screens showing the match itself. The fan zone is expected to operate from 12 noon to 5pm local time.

You've picked the right one, I mean the one close to the fan zone, not the one on the other side of town ;)
It's approximatley 20mn walk from place de la Nation.

So it appears there are contradictory informations for the moment, because news reports in France are the game will be screened in the fan zone.

So let's wait and see...

Weird if they don't show the game. By having a fan zone theyre basically encouraging ticketless fans. If it's not shown, then thousands of will spread out across the city. At least the fan zone will allow the authorities to manage resources in one central location.

you'd have to imagine they don't want to encourage people to travel knowing there is large screening. They will more likely announce the screening much closer to the day?

- The fanzone will be open between 2pm and the end of the game.

- so far it's open to anyone, with or without ticket.

- try to be there early to be sure that you can access it.

- if you booked at Chalet du Lac you are 10m away walking so you might want to keep your book!

Guys

Is there really going to be a fan park in Paris ?
A lot of talk and speculation but nothing on LFC or UEFA websites . Also the post on Twitter has already been deleted by Twitter administrators .
Its already Wednesday and nothing official yet .

Was just wondering if there is really going to be an official  fan park .
