Absolutely pissing down here in Valencia
I clutch the wire fence until my fingers bleed,
A wound that will not heal, a heart that cannot feel.
Hoping that the horror will recede,
Hoping that tomorrow we'll all be freed.........JUSTICE.

To be honest I thought the ground was dangerous with all the rain about. I must have seen at least 10.people slipping down the steps. How anyone never got injured I don't know.

don't think i've ever been rained on as much. had water practically coming out of my ears and had to ring-out my trousers twice.

their fans are lovely though. hopefully we can go back when it's less rainy.

Can someone who went to Spain give some advice please? I'm due to go in a couple of weeks and haven't uploaded any documents re my vaccination yet and my second dose expires the week after I return and I'm worried it's going to cause some sort of problem even though it's within date, albeit marginally. What was it like when you guys went to Spain? Were they checking things a lot when you were there and at the airport?

Valencia airport it was just a random spot check, like 1 in 5 or something. so if you're unlucky they might question it. most european places are more relaxed at the moment anyway really.

Think it depends where you're going - I flew to Barcelona and they were checking virtually everyone's vaccination status at the airport on arrival. Elsewhere, as RF says above, pretty relaxed although nearly everyone was wearing masks on public transport.

Documents on phone or printed

I went to Granada a couple of weeks ago and one poor bloke was trying to look at everyone's phone, bit of paper as we all came through towards passport control.  I could have shown him my Nectar card QR code and got through!

At Valencia there was a second desk after passport check where they were checking vaccine status
