Annoying a lapse in concetration let Everton back into a game they were being destroyed in. But holy hell, Jota has been incredible this season.

There was a 20 min spell there where we just stood off them (sensibly) as they ran around stupidly enraged and all testosteroned up, basically just looking to inflict damage by any means possible, never a team ran so hard to try to get close enough to hurt somebody. There was no football game at that point at all, just a pack of wild dogs trying to catch foxes who were too quick and smart for them.


Just glad to get out of that sea of shit in one piece. I'd love to see them go down.

Salah has lifted our standards. When he is not scoring he is making them or dragging defenders out of position to make space for others. Jota benefitted from playing with him.

When Salah goes to AFCON there will be a gaping hole not only because we will miss a top scorer but one that makes everyone else better.
