Was a toss up between him and another, less flamboyant, but still really top level, defensive mid. In the end I couldn't resist the double-moustache and he'll compliment Souness really well.

Sorry for the delay guys. I had a 23-mile bike ride in 5°C weather (frigging toes in the sneakers!!!!) and then some rather emotional stuff to deal with when coming home. It's been a rough day for me but hopefully it's all good now

Already picked Míchel Salgado and sent the pick to Betty

Pretty happy with the pick too, always felt that Real had won even more in his time if every player put in as much effort as he did.

Haven't really settled on the final formation yet, it depends on what's available. One thing is certain: there will be four defenders.

It's been a priority of mine securing and potentially finishing my central midfield in the first half of the draft because I knew if I left it late that's trouble. After all you almost won the last draft with Kelleher in goal so the passmaster has clearly taught me something

I always saw Lahm as an amazing FB and good but not amazing midfielder. No point pushing him out of his best position.

Lahm's best position maybe was left wing back so that he could cut inside at will. It's just that once Alaba emerged at Bayern he got moved to the right out of necessity.
