Footballers can‘t dribble anymore, can they? It‘s all muscle and big thighs and run like fuck. When I think of somebody like George Best, the players these days just don‘t compare.

Everton really drag opponents down to their level. Bound to be a scruffy 1-0 win to them.

Could have done with Grujic and even Chirivella to tide us over this season

A back six, defending deep, lumping balls up to Richarlison.  It's a far cry from the Milan and Real Madrid sides that Ancelotti managed!

It should be Brighton... but it won’t be

Brighton might actually push for a place in the top half if they could finish. Or if they had a real goal scorer. Put Ings in that side and they'd have about 15 more goals than they currently have.

Criminal how much money Everton have wasted under Moshiri.

Must be coming to £400 million to basically stand still.

At some point it has to turn for Brighton, even average attacking players have to do something. They’re leading 15–5 on shots against a European contender here and it’s like this every game. If they ever find a striker watch out.

First bit of premier league football I’ve watched all week. A pertinent reminder of why I don’t watch it in the first place.

I’ve been watching the Brazilian leagues and cups the last few months, entertainment value is so much better. Attacking teams for the majority, some very skilful players and if there is a rare no goal match it’s always likely there will be a few red cards, fights or military police involved instead.
