Fancy County to do Brighton, always show up in the cup and have been great in league 2 all season. Twine who was their star player recalled to Swindon and Cooper back to swansea but picked up a couple new players too. Could be interesting.

Well he was a Liverpool fan in his back garden. It’s not like he took it through the turnstiles with him, he probably just wanted to get on telly. Then again every garden got a bit of coverage, so he’d have got on telly anyway.

Looked like it from the TV, looked like he was looking for him. Hopefully it happened off screen. To be fair to him, Mourinho tends to be quite good against lower league opposition.

I watched because it’s near where I used to live, so lots of local angles for me.

Yeah, a few mean spirited takes in here I reckon. Marine are so far out of Spurs league (literally Jamie) it was quite interesting to see how they’d cope and how the players handled it. Score wasn’t a surprise obviously but I quite enjoyed seeing them have their moment in the spotlight and hopefully they’ll be sorted for years with the money they’ve made from it.

He's a Red in his back garden supporting Marine on the biggest day in their history. He was good fun on a fun occasion. People forget that most Marine fans are first and foremost Liverpool fans and Blueshite fans who also get behind the local club on their doorstep when their main club isn't playing at home. I think Pete Hooton is a Marine regular since moving to Crosby too.

The Klopp cutout was a good laugh.

5-0 is pretty respectable I think considering the level they play at, no? That, and they’ve been robbed of the one thing (fans) that would have made it a memorable occasion

I've loved seeing Marine playing in this round, shame that shot hit the bar. Its brilliant for the players, they have got to play against players they will have watched lose to us in a CL Final, got to nab shirts and been on the telly. Its a dream for them to be in the 3rd round and play a Prem team.

Due to the shambolic nature of this season I've given up watching live games, but I watched this one and enjoyed it. I've been to watch Marine countless times since the 70s and lived with an ex on Rossett Road for years, so today was an occasion I wanted to see. I saw old faces getting interviewed on College Road on the telly and it was nice seeing a Premiership club at the old ground.

Spurs were always going to walk it given the gulf in talent and class, but I thought Marine were better in the second half, stood off them less and were more aggressive. They did ok given the size of the task. Well done to them.

You’d have to be a pretty miserable person to come in here and gripe about that match. Loved the buildup to the game, great day for Marine fans I’m sure who will remember that for a long time. Shame there couldn’t be any fans in the ground.

Ah come on, I'm sure everyone connected to Marine had a great day (and lead up) and that's what it's all about. They deserved it after doing so well to get this far and loads of neutrals and reds/blues will have enjoyed it too.

Annoyingly, our place was on the other side of Rossett Road, so we could only see the pitch through the gaps in the houses that backed on to it when we were there. 😤
