So glad he's back, he's probably our most clinical in front of goal. We've missed that this season.

He should have got at least 1 today! But it’s great to see him back, makes such a difference having that option now. He’s a pest.

Looked extremely rusty in front of goal. If the other forwards stay fit it's going to be a while before he starts regularly on this evidence.

Awesome to have him back and seeing him so involved, missed chances happen, more encouraging he gets them!

Not a good night for the "he'll score all the ones Nunez misses" lot though  ;D

Great to see him back and showing some sharpness, should be first choice as soon as he's ready.

Still has that uncanny knack of ghosting into the right position to score, the sharpness will hopefully come in the coming weeks so he can help us finish strong.

Only a matter of time before he goes on a scoring streak. Such a great option to have, an absolute live wire.

Miles off the pace against the bitters but much closer today. He'll be a monster again shortly. We'll need him if Darwin is out.

He also looked a rather angry with himself at the end and was being talked to by Milner offering a bit of support. Great to see players wanting to do more and annoyed with themselves even when we win. Great attitude.

Coming back right on cue. Still rusty, but that's to be expected after being out for so long. But I have a sneaky feeling that he could win us the game against Real.

What a lovely, lovely 2nd half from Mr. Jota. Excellent driving run for the disallowed goal, and then a beautiful ball to Van Dijk for the opener.

One of the best around when he’s picking it up on the half turn, relatively deep and just being direct as fuck.

Really good to have Diogo available from the start again. Really hope he scores soon as I think it may be like a damn breaking. But he’s always dangerous and liable to create things and cause problems even if not banging them in

Pressing monster indeed. Missed him scampering and hurrying defenders into mistakes. Such an underrated players. He's been so on/off due to injuries that its almost forgotten how bright he was before that, especially during AFCON last year. So good to see him back. Need him to get a goal against the Mancs now.

Great to see him back. Think he's vital for how we play.

However he could do with a goal. Last time he scored was 10th April 2022 (versus City). Think it's over 20 odd appearances without a goal and nearly 11 months without a club goal.

Sure it'll come soon and think we'll see his play jump again if he gets that boost of confidence from breaking his goal drought.
I think Jookie might just be the best fisherman on this thread.

I posted it a few weeks ago. Get him, Darwin firing and possibly even more importantly Diaz back and we will be a different team.
Mix that with a world class midfield and next season we should be back
