He likes sure likes those floaty, curvy crosses to the far post, and he does them quite well.

He had a couple of dangerous ones early in the game - but once they become predictable, they're easy to defend as we don't really have the forwards to challenge those consistently.

If he took a page from Robbo's book and started to mix it up with low, hard crosses and cut-backs - then he could really make that left side shine.

He takes a wicked inswinging corner. Created teo excellent chances tor Mane and Jota and Jota at least should have at forced a save.

Played well. Got outmuscled a couple of times but also saved vardy from having a free shot. Really good alternative at lb

One of the few bright spots. Needs to get used to the lack of protection from refs in this league and keep going even when he has been fouled.

You're talking nonsense, as far as left-backs go his right foot is really good.

He wasted one excellent opportunity in the second half but other than that he was one of our better players, if anyone thinks tonight would have been any different with Robbo there, they need to give their head a wobble.
Seen some bad takes today, but this is one of the worst. Kostas use of his right foot, not only for crossing, but to dribble and link up, is one of his biggest strengths as a player. It brings a whole other dimension to our left side and makes us less predictable, as we now have two players, in Mané and him, who can cut in with the ball, as much as they can go wide.
Yep.
Yep.

Would like to see him get some game time at RB at possible to see if he could effectively be our first choice cover/rotation option for both full-back positions.

Had a tough game against Chelsea but I thought he played pretty well. His delivery in the final third was a bit disappointing but overall I thought he was one of our better players. Strong on the ball, didn't make errors, made good decisions, and also offered something constantly going forward up that left flank. We have a very capable deputy for Robbo and on current form, I think he deservedly starts and would probably be unlucky to lose his place when Robbo is back.

With our lack of options in the final third we could possibly see him pushed more further forward

On the pitch for about 1 minute? Amazing.

Such a good delivery from the free kick. Even Trent would have been proud of that one.

He's great and everything, sure, another testament to Klopp and co's ability to shape and mold a great player.  Excellent.  His fucking celebrations though are the best thing since the first time I saw Bobby Firmino nearly take a teammate's head off while broadly smiling.

Top, top goal celebrations.  On a scale to ten I'm giving him a seventeen easy.

How do we get a right footed version of him for games when Trent is out? So nice having a great backup for Robbo.

Not sure I remember seeing an understudy so interchangable with the first choice. They practically play the same way, with almost the same quality. He looks off his head while Robertson visibly burns with the fire of a thousand suns, but still.

I love his engine and intensity he brings to the team. It's a shame that he's missing that yard of pace going forward as that's the only thing missing in his game as a modern fullback.

I'd let him kiss me too  :-*
