That was fucking great. Most fun I've had in the ground all season is today and Everton. Shame all the big game Charlie's were too cool for tonight, passed on their tickets and didn't bother their arses turning up to get behind these young lads.

Showed themselves a cut above and all Shrewsbury had to offer was muscle and shithouse fouling to go along with their small time Soccer AM Tory fans.

Up the fucking Reds!

Shrewsbury manager being utterly graceless in his interview. Embarassing actually.

I got the impression in the run up to the game that Not being massive underdogs and with most expecting them to get a result was not sitting well with them at all

Didn't see a second of it, but that's a magnificent achievement.

Most of these guys have now experienced full houses at Anfield and beaten Everton and Shrewsbury and qualified for the last 16 of the cup.  Out of this world stuff.

I'd buy them all a pint but I don't think many of them are old enough to drink legally.

I get Shrewsbury would've got more out of a TV tie against our top stars. But Ricketts said they could generate a "legacy" by spending money on training pitches "or one extra player". Who are they signing, Messi?

Wonderful win for the youngsters, especially after they were really unfortunate against Villa where the result no way reflected the game.

bit of a prick trying to play the guilt card isn't he?

They got a replay thanks to Liverpool, and all they have done is complain.

What did he say, presumably he glossed over his side having spent most of the 90 mins kicking out at a bunch of kids.

Is Danny Murphy banned from returning to Anfield or something? I only ask because, whether it's MotD or Sky Sports debates, he sounds bitter as fuck.

Fantastic by the young reds, the boss totally justified with his approach. Had we lost tonight the media would have crucified him, not that we or he would care about that but the narrative would have been obvious.

Only saw the first half as my internet went down but I have to say how proud I am of the whole squad. No matter what team we put out, we have really forgotten how to lose.

Well done lads
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

The Sly Sports news reporters look totally deflated. All that time wasted developing the narrative that Klopp “disrespected” the Cup. And the those spiteful fuckers at the FA preventing broadcasters from picking up the match....

C*nts, stop making everything about you. Your opinions don’t matter. Klopp thinks his first team need the winter break. He also thinks the kids are good enough to compete with a League 1 side. And they played them off the park cuz Klopp knows what he’s doing. Get over it.

Fuck off Sly Sports News.
Fuck off FA.
Fuck off anybody who hasn’t tasted the Klopp koolaid.

It’s the most delicious thing in the world. What a night!

Listen, they got TV  money from one game because they were playing us, they got a replay because we played a weaker team, we also gave them the chance to get a game at Chelsea which they buggered up (or we stopped them)

We have been generous enough, bizarre that they would rather play our 1st team to gain money rather than play our 3/4th team for less money and an excellent chance of cup success/further money

The FA to not be petty bastards and allow the game to be broadcast? Or not have a replay when the Premier League organised a break for all the teams?

Made up for the lads tonight .. totally deserved and you've got to say some of them really dont look out of place in .the team

Haven't heard his interview, but can't see it that way, Barney. He had a chance to go to the 5th round. Should have and could have. He fucked it up, not the FA. He'd have got far bigger windfall if the went to the Bridge.

The FA also have an egg on their face. They didn't televise the game, and I bet you, this was the best on to televise in terms of attracting attention than any of the other ones, even the three ones that went to extra time and penalties. This was THE VERY STORY of the Cup magic. So, fuck the FA too, they got what they deserved. Have them show Rooney's return to United next round.

Milton Keynes 0 Liverpool 2 (8 young uns, 6 old uns) Solid
Liverpool 5 Arsenal 5 (7 young uns, 6 old uns) Fantastic entertainment, great spirit
Villa 5 Liverpool 0 (14 young uns) Played much better than the history books will remember
Liverpool 1 Everton 0 (7 young uns, 7 old uns) A historic result against Carlo Ancelotti, possibly Everton's greatest humiliation ever
Shrewsbury 2 Liverpool 2 (5 young uns, 9 old uns) probably let down by a couple of old uns in the early part of the second half
Liverpool 1 Shrewsbury 0 (14 young uns) Wonderful to watch, dominant and confident

Curtis Young played like Pirlo and Chivrella and Williams look like 1st team players

No-one wanted to leave the pitch at the end, wonderful sight and looked like the highlight of Critchley's career

I'll take the league (and world champions) as enough but this shadow season has been wonderful to watch and winning the FA cup with the kids would be just mad on top of everything else that's going on.

Shrewsbury were lucky to get a replay anyway, had VAR been used in the original tie, we'd have had a penalty for handball in the first half, & their penalty would have been annulled to a free kick as the foul was outside the area.

Defo missed that, I didn't think the lad who scored was offside
Was in the lower Kenny by the corner flag. We were screaming for offside when the ball was played through. The poseur of a linesman was so far behind the play all night.
Bunch of wools, their fans getting all worked up because they couldn’t get the ball off our crčche.
The kids were so bloody good on the ball. All that they needed was a focal point up front to bang it in. No sympathy for them or their small town Salop shouting fans.
