He said it is unprecedented an unprecedented number of times, some seem to think he was mightily impressive. The problem is not the giveaway which was inevitable it is how they intend to get the money back. Ideally it will be by creating a fairer society, however the likelihood is that it will by an unprecedented level of austerity. An unprecedented attack on public services and an unprecedented attack on those least able to pay.

We make 80% of our money from April-Oct. Our income for March, April and may has fallen to zero while we still have to pay our monthly work expenses. The self employed contribute 305bn to the economy and have been left shafted here.

Would need to see the regional numbers. But there were reports cases were increasing a lot in the south (where healthcare facilities aren't great). Lots of people moved down from the north when they made a mistake of only doing a northern lockdown initially.

In any case, most countries are right on Italy's trajectory. Hopefully they can learn and adapt over the next two weeks.

Good to see the UK finally getting their act together. A week late, but nevertheless.

Partner's income and savings are taken into account for how much is paid, yeah.

It should be okay. The Government are clueless and acting on the fly. As soon as it is pointed out to them they will come up with something in the next few days. They come up with something the flaws are pointed out and then they react.
